Like this a lot. It's good to have a hero with a single power who has to contrive methods of making it useful, rather than a hero with a panacea of magical abilities. It's also nice to have a new face behind a mask who isn't a total turd brain, and who is rather excited by the promise of adventure and exploration, rather than having an angst-fit and waking up with a generic semi-nude woman in perfect OYL fashion, probably before becoming an icompetent arse and turning into a squid.

At least with the Flash....even through they had a single power....they came up with many diverse ideas for that power was to be utilized. With GL, they had that cool turning to the dark side thing which they backed out of and 'convientiently' created.....(ugh! I'm so disgusted with them about GL-Parallax thing)
And Fish man....ooops, I mean Aquaman...well he stood up against the Crime Syndicate....along with the MM, so if its not the power...its the attitude.
Hope this new Atom can at least have the latter.

He has always had one of the most diverse versatile superpowers. He can maintain and manipulate his density/weight no matter how small he shrinks. He can travel through photons and radio waves to "teleport" through phone lines. He's immune to magic -- and most everything else -- when he becomes the size of an atom. I mean, the list goes on and on; how anyone can think he has a boring power is beyond me.

I know about the Atom...I was a fan of his when he was still facing off agasint Chronos and the tiny Djinni when he first came out;I did my paper on him and his time on the Titans (Jurgens run)...as well as the influence and importance behind the Titans in the first place.
I know about his successes, his falls, (Ray's) failed marriage, his miniture lover, and his tragic loss.........
But I prefer him over (brrrr) Ant-man...which makes me want to puke as Marvel is trying to copy him/Doll-Man.
From shrinking to the Microscopic universe up to a brief time being able to grow up to Atom Smashers natural height.
Still aside from those mentioned above....his abilities are still not as versatile as one would think....
