Seriously...all of this movie looks like hot garbage. Hemsworth as a secretary is stupid. Let's make The Rock a phone operator! It's childish humor. It's low brow writing. McCarthy fumbling around is low brow. They remake a classic film and think it's brilliant to gender swap? No.

If the movie is good, I'll eat crow. But, I would bet it bombs and I'll gladly gloat.

Feig should have directed the Point Break remake but made it Thelma and Louise style. Maybe it wouldn't have bombed!?

I even agree with a couple things you just said, about it being low-brow in a way the Originals definitely were not
But the point is, when you start calling actresses (even ones not in this movie) a fat drunken *****, you pretty much nullify your arguments as far as the other side is concerned, and ya make yourself look like a clown to boot

No, at first it was, but that's the least of their worries now, the more they show and say about this, the more this looks like this is going to be this summer's Fant4stic and Pixels.
