The New Ghostbusters - Part 8

That's kind of a loaded way of going into it. Either way your opinion is justified .
Yeap, but that's how it is, not gonna lie, based on what I have seen (what most people have seen).

I'm confident that if it's actually good, I won't let that get in the way of how I enjoy it, but there is a lot things that are part of the nature of this production that won't allow me to enjoy it like a normal movie, no matter what the end product is (the fact that is a remake and not a sequel, backstage stuff, stuff from the leaked Sony mails)

What primarily irks me is that while I wholeheartedly disagree with the misogynists who say women can't be Ghostbusters, I'm more bothered by the feminazis who are calling anyone a misogynist for disliking the trailer, whether they actually be misogynists or they genuinely don't like the material. I've seen a montage of videos of women reviewing the trailer, where they state they don't like what they've seen and they themselves take issue with the feminazis labeling legit criticisms as misogynist. Feminazism gives feminism a bad name.

I agree with the Midnight Edge assessment of how they're handling Ghostbusters.

And I'm kinda giving up on whether earlier press screenings make a movie more valid. Warcraft had press screenings a month in advance with embargoes lifting with two weeks left.

Japanese theme song with Tomochika, Oniyakko Tsubaki, Naomi Watanabe and Shizuyo Yamasaki...

This might literally be the first thing coming out of this train wreck, that I actually do not dislike.

I heard GB is coming to comic-con. With their marketing strategy being '£#it on fans', is that a good idea? lol

The trainwreck that surrounds this movie is quickly becoming more entertaining than the movie could ever be.

And then, the most GB like thing this movie can produce: announcer asks "who you gonna call?" and the comic con audience screams "He-Man!"

I don't think it will be booed. If people are lucky enough to get into Hall H they are just happy to be there and not outside. You can get a sense on what audiences think with things being on the silent side. Big difference between the Fant4stic panel and the Deadpool one right after.

They better play up the supportive fans though, that's what comic con is for. Leave the bs comments on either side somewhere else.

I don't know if the reaction to the panel gives us a real sense. At Cinemacon, word is the Ghostbusters footage underwhelmed but the cast and crew onstage were able to work the crowd.

It was easy to look at the cast of Deadpool vs. Fant4stic to see how they were able to work the crowd.

It doesn't. But the vibes are usually much more on the positive side then internet boards. I'm sure many of the fans there were skeptical of Fant4stic. But they won't start yelling the things everyone says on the net.

That'd be too hilarious to pass up on

Only nerds actually buy tickets to something in order to heckle it.

I swear I can't not hear Huey Lewis "I wanna new drug" when I hear the original theme. I can see why he sued.

Eric Snider says embargoes lift on July 10 while he sees it on July 12.

Is society still treating the backlash of this turd as a sexism thing, or that it just looks awful? I haven't been keeping up. :o

Feminists gonna condemn because they're :loco: ...

(the "haters gonna hate" version of what's still going on with this film)
