Ultimate Nullifer can pretty much destroy anything it's user can fully perceive.

Hulk's killed hundreds, if not thousands of times. He's been killing since the middish 60's. Small tyrant ruled countries, pulling down loaded Submarines to the depths of the ocean, lackies of them (tyrants), really bad guys, and so on. He killed several hundred people when he went Mindless, ripping apart cities and what not.

Mephisto once claimed he was a being spawned from one of The Infinity Gems or something, I believe that was retconned and what not though. Pretty much just some kind of satan like being who feeds off of a number of planets problems. They are several satan like beings in the MU.

Not sure about Dock Ock. Maybe they had some kind of mental relay from Ock inside of them, like perpetual memory? :S

I remember in Amazing's recent Doc Ock arc Carlyle said that there was some sort of cerebrl interface that Ock invented which allows it to detect his brainwaves,but that was most likely due to JMS's lack of research,since it's been hinted that the control is more a form of telepathy than anything technological

I've got a question about Gideon, specifically about the limits of his power. I know that he can only 6 or so powers, but from who can he copy? From researching him, I've found conflicting reports. Some pages mention only that he can copy superhuman abilities, a great many others say he can only copy the powers of mutants. I've also heard the cannot copy the powers of aliens. Who can Gideon copy abilities from?

Its up to interpretation to be honest. I've read all his appearances outside of new warriors and he hasn't done anything particularly impressive imo

Though in new warriors he apparently kicks some ass

Yeah, I believe he's considered a mutant. First one as well... 1940'ish was his first appearance I believe...

So I'm assuming that the "mutant-only" thing was never officially declared, and just infered. Do you know if he has ever copied a non-mutant power?

Something along the lines of not being able to fend off close quarters attacks right? He looked like he was at shatterstar's mercy with those blades of his to Gideon's throat in the issue I was looking at.

Busiek said that the wings on Namor's ankles are a manifestation of his ability to fly. It would flap like hell if it were actually the vehicle of his flight.

Anyway i have a few questions of my own:

1. Who is sleepwalker? What are his powers? Group affiliations?

2. In the Onslaught saga, why didn't Doom "steal" Onslaught's powers (since he has succesfully done it on other cosmics)?

I've got every appearance of Gideon (including the out of continuity ones).

He is a mutant with the ability to copy superpowers regardless of the sources (for the most part). As far as I know there are no limits that say how many powers he can use. He never used more than 6 at a time though. He can copy mutants, other types of superhumans and to some degree mechanical things. He's definitely not limited to mutants though because he copied Speedball and Nova who aren't mutants.

I personally think that he could copy aliens (though Guyverjay would argue the other way) though we don't have any clearcut evidence for it.

As to why it sometimes looks like it takes longer than others for him to copy powers, I chalk that up to the writers. In his New Warriors appearances, he duped their abilities almost instantaneously and had knowledge of how to use them that exceeded the Warriors. That's what I base his abilities on. His fight in New Warriors is the only time we actually seem him in a drawn out fight with multiple foes so it is a lot of what I base his abilities on.

I am sure though that his ability to dupe powers is somewhat based on his proximity to the person he is copying. After the intial copying, his ability to use the power decreases over time as he gets farther away from the person he copied. He does keep them for a while afterwards, the actual length isn't determined.

Re: Namor's ankle wings: If what Busiek said were so, why did couldn't he fly for the time he didn't have his ankle wings and he was waiting for them to grow back?

From what I remember Sleepwalker could animate/distort objects with beams from his eyes and I think he turn immaterial.

This is a very stupid question:

How strong is Juggernaut - and I ask this because he seems to vary in strength depending on who is writing him. However, I thought he was not a being which fluctuated in strength but one that had a very strong base/maximum level. If anybody knows I would be curious to read an answer.
