Marvel published Gargoyles comics in the past, so it doesn't seem particularly unlikely that they could do some more given their current ownership. But I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the Gargoyles to be placed in the main Marvel universe. Marvel's been burned by using licensed characters in such scenarios before.

Slave Labor Graphics was doing Gargoyles comics not long ago, after the cartoon had ended, but I think scheduling problems derailed them. Even when they were still publishing the comics, it took like 4 or 5 months for a new issue to come out. I had no idea why, either, 'cause usually it's the artist that slows a book down, but the artist they got for Gargoyles was absolutely horrendous, so I couldn't imagine him taking so many months to arrive at what was on the finished pages.

They share him. That whole Xandar thing started up in that arc, if I remember correctly. But yeah. Sphinx has appeared alot in FF and Marvel Two-in-One.


But Nova totally has squatters rights on Sphinx.

The Sphinx started out as a Nova villain in Nova's first series and has remained essentially his foe although he has shared him with the FF and the Warriors. I think that Nova was involved in that FF story as well. Another Nova foe was the Corrupter although he was weakened badly in his followup appearances.
