It sounded like Box to me. Flex could only change his body, iirc, into metal and shape it. Box could control other stuff.

Yeah maybe but I thought Box powers were something else. But whatever.

Heres a stupid question that just popped into my head. Why hasn't Magneto ever just wiped the Red Skull off the face off the earth?? I mean Red Skull nazi, nazi people that killed Magnetos family. Makes sense to me.

I think Magneto and the Red Skull had a lot of tension during the Acts of Vengeance in the '80s.

On that note, what was it that made the Red Skull's face all red skully?

Originally (and a couple times since then) he was actually just wearing a red skull-like mask. When his face actually became skull-like it was because he got a face full of his own death-dust on accident. He had used the dust before to turn others heads into a red skull as kind of his calling card.

The Infinity Formula. It's kinda like the Super-Soldier Serum only it doesn't raise you to peak human levels, you have to do that on your own.

To quote a Most Excellent Nick Fury Website, that I suggest everyone check out:

At the end of the war in Europe, Nick was severely injured by a landmine in France, and was found and healed by Professor Berthold Sternberg. Professor Sternberg used Nick as a test subject for his "Infinity Formula," and Nick made a full recovery.

Six months into his service in Korea, he learned the extent of Sternberg's life-saving operation: the Infinity Formula ******ed his aging, and if Nick didn't receive annual doses of the Infinity Formula, he would age rapidly and die. The good doctor began a thirty-year period of extorting large sums of money from Fury in exchange for the Infinity Formula. The formula, the extortion, and the eventual end of said extortion was detailed in 1976's Marvel Spotlight #31.

During this second series, a conspiracy arose involving the terrorist known as Leviathan to prevent Fury from obtaining the Infinity Formula. Fury began to age rapidly. However, it was discovered that Fury's body had begun producing the drug on its own. Fury became young again and, with the aid of the cyborg Deathlok, he put an end to the conspiracy.

And that's the gist of how it happened.

I don't think that Nazis killed Magneto's family...I thought they just used that for the movies.

Nope. He was actually in a prison camp.

Magneto Bio that's a outdated but still has his history pretty much right.

And the main relavent part:

The man now known as Magnus spent his early teens imprisoned with his family at the Nazi death camp in Auschwitz, Poland. The only member of his family to survive the camp, Magnus here learned how brutally human beings could treat minorities whom they considered different.

why does the old abomination have webbed ears?

That's just the way his gamma mutation happened. I don't think there's ever been a real reason given for it.

so if i get hit by gamma radiation i get webbed ears. makes no sense at all.

No. If you get hit with gamma radiation you'll change into something else probably. Typically gamma radiation does something different to everyone. Look at a list of gamma irradiated people and you'll see that it can do very different things to different people.

The Abomination
The Harpy
The Leader
Madman
Doc Samson
Sasquatch

All of these people were given their powers through gamma radiation but with different results.

So in one way it does make sense that the Abomination got webbed ears. Because different people react differently to gamma radiation.

you forgot about digger but the gamma rays didn't treat him so well after good a shellacking by spidey
