I'm pretty indifferent to connor, but everybody else is whining and Winick bashing. I just wanna be popular.

I've been Winick bashing for so long I've forgotten how to be indifferent.

Not if the comatose vegetable is Connor. Remember, Ollie's better than him in every way.

:whatever:
That's only because Connor was on Ollie's team. If Connor was a villain, he would pwn Ollie in every way and then AIDS him.

So - this weeks issue?

Bit to much chit chat and exposition for me. But I kinda like that it looks like Ollie's kidnapping and the Connor situation are completely unrelated despite the insinuation that Granny Goodness had more in store for team Arrow.

Green Arrow and Black Canary #11
Oh for the love of ****ing **** ****. I saw it coming. I saw it coming from miles and miles away and still I must bang my head against the wall to attempt to clear away all the suck.

For those wondering, yes we get a definite answer to what the hell really was going on for this past year, and for those wondering, no, it really does not actually manage to become all that much clearer than the initial explanation of "cloud sniper." The explanation was such a cluster**** of a Xanatos Roulette of a cluster**** that it is simply not worth a fraction of the effort or panel-time here to try to know. Oh and Winick spends half this issue on a military base with a bunch of characters that he just introduced because apparently we care or something. Thinking that people care about a bunch of his ****ty one-off creations in lieu of the actual main characters of this book has been to Winick's detriment for some time, now.

But because I know you're all dying to know, who exactly is the grand grandmastermind of all this way back on that fateful cloud-sniped day?

Shado.

Wait excuse me, I meant Shado with an image-inducer pretending to be R'as-Al-Ghul hiring a bunch of random people to wait months to kill someone when they actually killed the wrong person because these expert assassins couldn't actually hit a moving target with alien technology 'cause of nerves or whatever and therefore had to kidnap the comatose wrongly-shot victim instead for some reason.

As in, the one person in all of the DCU who is THE LEAST ****ING LIKELY TO COME UP WITH A PLAN LIKE THIS.

****.

Would this be the first time she tried to kill Ollie? No.

Would this be the first time she tried to kill Ollie after spawning his bastard? Yes.

Would this be the first time she, in disguise, hired other people to kill Ollie for some reason, other people who then ended up shooting the wrong person, so then she decided to kidnap that person for...some...reason? Also yes.

Well, yeah, but she tried to kill him back when she first met him. Their relationship changed pretty drastically after that and, as far as I know, hadn't changed back. Plus, she shot Connor, whom she just recently banged in his mini (not that I'd expect Winick to even know that).

is ollie still mayor of Star City in current continuity? STUPID ??????

i just ain't been following lately

I don't know what issue, but it's been quite a few months. The press found out about his having funded the Outsiders for awhile and some s**t happened. He ended up leaving that black guy in charge or something. I dropped the book by then.

I've been getting into Green Arrow stuff lately.......I'm digging it!

Yet he still bought the book! Give 'im a hand, folks.

Oh, for the love of all that is.

Worst. Plot. Ever.

New writers cant come soon enough.

So the new solicit just makes me more worried of Winicks intentions.

Sounds like his intentions are to raise the skill bar for Connor - something a lot of people here have been whining about for ages now.

I'm sure Winick'll find some way to f*** it up. Just have faith; he'll never steer you wrong in that sense.
