I'm trying to get all these small sized ones for the sake of making everyone look proportionate... there were tons of Green Lantern and Transformers Dark of the Moon stuff in the store as well... but I'm like "one movie at a time!"

Amazing. Huge but amazing worth the cash.

I'm looking forward to Thor though. He should look pretty epic, i just want to get him next to my Iron Man.

However i'm more so excited for the pictures of the Captain America figure.

Have you seen the modifications to hot toys Thor since the proto, the hair looks flatter and his face does not quite as much like Hemsworth as the proto.

From the pic's i've seen there's a 'Sean Bean' LOTR vibe about him.

From comparisons the changes are pretty minimal. The only major change for the product is the inclusion of the stone base for Mjolner.

I believe they've also slightly modified the expression.
I think it looks enough like Chris Hemsworth to be passable. At the end of the day nothing is perfect but this is as close as we are going to get until next year.

Yeah the stone base is pretty awesome.

Thats one of the few good things in the uk, the dollar to pound ratio, so it sorta works out cheaper for us. Though not by much.

I always buy mine directly from asian markets, that way you get them before the big price hike hits.

Do you collect Hot Toys B.A.?

To be fair Vartha, if you didn't buy 10 small figures you could probably afford Thor when he was up for pre-order.
Trouble is now he'll go up and up.

If you want a Thor Hot Toys figure I'd start saving now and then you'll be able to get the one that's out no doubt with The Avengers (If not Thor 2)

yeah yeah, I still want the small ones too tho. LAST time I waited for the price to go down was for the HUGE Ben Grimm, (which I just metioned in RYO's thread) and When I went to go get him they were GONE and it wasn't more than a week when I'd checked from the last time either.

I started collecting a year ago.

Had to sacrifice getting any 6" figures (ML's, NECA, McFarlane)

So on one hand it sucks however having a few of these amazing, movie accurate 1/6 figures is worth more (to me) than having 40+ 6" botchy paint job figures. (Some aren't that bad though!)

So now all i get is Hot Toys (MARVEL only), The Classic Marvel Figurine Collection and my comics.

And that Ghost Rider looks great! Wouldn't it be cool if someone actually made a Ghost Rider toy where you can actually light up his skull with real fire?
