ok so Anti-Venom's "suit" is made of antibodies ...hmm my "medical student" sense is tingling lol...

I thought last issue was really good, and I really enjoy Eddie as Anti-Venom (and I thought the way they used Freak was really brilliant)

Only thing I didn't like was the scorpion's new suit, bleh. I hope Eddie will kick his a** !

I'm excited for the conclusion, but there's still things holding me back from completely enjoying this...namely "Oh, Spidey and Pete just split the money for the pics, but Spidey actually takes the photos." Oh but of course Pete couldn't be Spidey. And the symbiotes also don't remember his identity...just like the Osborns. Ugh...that makes me when I think of it.

And, of course, it goes without saying that there's no Mary Jane in the picture...

The Word "wow!" seems up this issue perfectly. I loved seeing norman back in the Goblin suit and the ending was fantastic.

Antibodies can't do that on their own bla bla bla..." and then, in the middle on my rant I thought "oh you are bothered about the good use of Antibodies concept in comic books but a guy bitten by a radioactive spider crawling in walls is absolutely normal....moron !" lol

you're right, we're dealing with comics, as long as it's enjoyable (and I have to say that I really enjoy this arc so far) then it's good

you're right, we're dealing with comics, as long as it's enjoyable (and I have to say that I really enjoy this arc so far) then it's good

I'm starting to see what someone told me in an IM just a few weeks back. This is pretty much the same dumb **** that the rest of BND has been. It blinded me for the first few issues with shiny returning characters, but it's just crap on a stick. I'm ashamed to say that one of my favorite comic book writers wrote this.

True...but it's not in Norman's character to be oblivious to the obvious. If he can turn Freak into a vaccine machine, he can darn figure out that Peter is Spider-Man.

The Osborns not knowing Pete's identity really isn't bad. They spend as much time knowing Pete is Spidey as they do not knowing.

Bingo, I see it as somehow his body has taken the remnants of the symbiote, duplicated their abilities, but without it being a living being. This probably doesn't make any sense, heh, but pretty much, I think it just took the traces, hit copy and past a bazillion times and had what essentially is a symbiote without the spark of life to it and the owner has all the power and traits but none of the drawbacks.

Also, I'm kinda iffy on Gargan's new look, I'm hoping that it looks better next issue since he'll be more healed by then. I don't know, there's something off about the face and head design; the mouth makes it look odd and I'm not wholly sold on the spikes. It's not horrible, but it needs a bit of tweaking.

I dont know that would be a pretty good one, though the hulk power bombed Venom the first time, this time anti-venom could actually purge the gamma infection from Banner's blood so he actually has a pretty good change of winning, I wouldnt say its a definite no CaptanStacy, but this is the Hulk were talkin about tho

One of many reasons I'm having a blast with this storyline is that it's soooo refreshing to have Norman not know who Spider-Man is!!

Otherwise it'd be the usual post-clone-saga relationship. Norman shows up, taunts Peter, Norman reveals he has a plan. Sooner or later Peter's deceased childhood dog has been dug up and given a goblin life serum. Then we all go "Goblin serum raises dead dogs?" then Peter has to kill his own dog or something and Norman escapes again unharmed.

Hmmm, I think I'll call it "Rover's Last Stand".

Obviously from that preview, Norman had something to do with Harry's resseruction to some extent at least.

Please Harry. Girlfriends? they're replaceable. And don't act like you haven't died before. You should be used to it by now. We're Osborns. We bounce back. Its in our blood.

So the fact that they acknowledge his death shows that Harry still died in SSM 200. His current return to life seems to be something orcastrated probably by Osborn.

But it's probably in their minds cause Mephistooo really did it. No matter the excuse or explanation given, Mephisto did, cause he was catalyst for the change in Peter's world. This all just reeks of them trying to cover tracks with people like me that complained that Peter made a deal with the devil basically.
