The New X-Force

No. If it was yours, I was going to make fun of you for having a Sally Floyd folder.

Please. As if I keep my Sally Floyd pictures so disorganized.

What the poo-chomping dick is up with Wolverine btchslapping Scott like that??

If this were Whedon's Cyclops, the Canadian midget would be a smoking crater on the moon right now.

Pfah.

Oh and re: gaiety, the first thing I thought was that Warren can't be very comfortable wrapping his inner thighs around a huge chunk of ice like that.

Unlikes he likes it.

He's wolverine dude, he can do whatever he wants. When cyclops becomes old an impotent[if he's not already], wolverine will still be banging chicks and still have time to star or co star in 5 books.

Probably. But it's the same problem I had with X-Treme X-Men. I'm really not too thrilled about photoshop, other than for editing manually colored material.

Yeah, that's a bit weird. The widespread consensus seems to be that digital coloring has vastly improved the look of comics. Although I still think hand-painted works like some of the Marvel OGNs and pretty much everything from Sienkiewicz still look awesome, too.

Any time there's a new digital technology, the widespread consensus always says that it's better than manual. Just like all those people who just loooove HDTV and think it's the best thing to ever happen to television.

Well, not exactly. I've seen comics that are entirely digital and, frankly, they don't hold a candle to a human being with a pencil and some talent. Rex Libris, for example. It's fun and all, but I always think it'd look better with pencils instead of all-digital art.

I'm gonna pick this title up solely for Warpath. I dont care if Wolverine dies in the first panel of the first issue and never comes back.

Good point, but once again, we're talking about a widespread consensus.

you know damn well your lieing.

That's how awesome it was, Anubis couldn't even touch it.

And then you got a paper cut. That's how sharp that book is.

Eh, it was all right. I tend not to dig ultraviolence in mainstream superhero comics. I'm still uncomfortable with Cyclops not only condoning but actually embracing murder. I really wish we could've seen a bit more internal conflict from him over X-Force. Granted, he could continue to appear in the series and show some ambivalence about X-Force's methods over time.

Anyway, the issue itself was decent. Crain's art never looks that great to me--it always seems muddled. But there was lots of angst and lots of sharp things and lots of blood spilled, so I guess it succeeded in everything it set out to accomplish. I'll give it the rest of this first arc to convince me to keep reading.

Sometimes, it has to be done. Especially when fighting people who want to kill you :o

I'm surprised I don't like Logan more

I'm back to my 5 year old self when i thought Wolverine was the most awesomest thing since Gambit!

What a horrific sentiment, even for a five year old. If I knew your five-year-old self, I would've hit you until you cried.
