The list isn't definitive at all but for me the significant thing is the names are the ones that are mentioned the most. From my point of view I just want Asa to get his shot at auditioning. If he fails, so be it, but audition the guy.

The image of Peter Parker I have in my head is SSM's PP and (to me) Asa Butterbeans looks most like the SSM Peter, with the exception of the brown eyes and mole.

To everyone that keeps bringing up the "95% sure" thing... it wasn't a Scoop, or News or a Claim! it was speculation! people took it out of context like Sneider was actually confirming something, but In reality he was only speculating.

Now honestly, I do think Marvel tested for actors of different race (like Kevin said, they started with a wide net) before narrowing the number down to like 20/15.
