We'll find out soon enough.
That particular Redditor was right about the Sony/Marvel deal, he told us that it would be announced in early February and he even described the parameters of the deal (weeks before it was announced)I definitely think that Reddit info is fake though.
Wait, he said Dylan has the role now?I was dubious when he first said O'Brien because he made a point to say it wasn't official and someone else could take over, which sounded a bit BS just because he was covering all bases. If someone else was cast he could have just said, well I said it wasn't official.
But now he has, and with his track record, I'm at least a little excited not gonna get over the top about it though
nobody on reddit has ever lied
Wait, he said Dylan has the role now?

Don't know, but what I do know is that Dylan O'Brien has OFFICIALLY signed on as Spider-Man. Got the news an hour ago.

I'll believe it when it is announced by Sony/Marvel.

Are we going to get an announcement on Thursday like RDJ said, or will Marvel just announce it a few days early? What is so special about Thursday of all days?
Yes he isThis statement could have worked a month ago when he leaked the deal:
So, now that Dylan Obrein is the new spiderman, is he better than Andrew Garfield? I say yes![]()

No, I don't think so.Has this Reddit poster ever been wrong about any of the rumours?
The casting announcement will be coming from Marvel or Sony, not RDJ I assume. If the redditor is right, than obviously RDJ`s announcement is something else other than the casting of Spider-Man. You don`t set a date for an announcement without being 100% sure of what you`re going to announce.
Perhaps RDJ's announcement is more to do with something that concerns him rather than the MCU as a whole? Either he's signed on for more, is stepping down or something.
If he was stepping down, I doubt he would hype it up like that. Plus, I figure he'll be stepping down after Infinity War anyway, so I don't think there's any need for that kind of an announcement.Perhaps RDJ's announcement is more to do with something that concerns him rather than the MCU as a whole? Well, yeah, but then again, it could be AoU and Spidey related at the same time, couldn't it?Well Marvel has been releasing posters since that day, so I think it's safe to say it's something AoU related.

That's what I'm thinking, added to the fact that I like O'Brien as our new Spider-Man. I think he'd nail the quipping. If you read his past stuff, he got a lot about the Sony deal before it happened. I'm inclined to believe him
