Oscop, your browser history has the potential to worry people. Clear it when you get chance mate.
Not to worry, my peeps already know I'm practically in love with O'Brien. it would come as no surprise. :)

This image inspired what is possibly an unfair 'NO' from me.
What's wrong with it?
Haha I see, that went over my head! I didn't have the reflexes to catch it! :P

True, if I were his parent and stumbled upon his search history, I'd start to wonder ;)
The funny thing is, my sister would later become the person to accidentally stumble upon my search history.... it's not cool.

Uh, what are we talking about here, again?

Haha! What was her reaction?

Who's on the opposite sides though?

I would guess that the Marvel and Sony executives want a teen for longevity, while Feige and Pascal (among others lower on the totem pole) are willing to go older than desired if the actor is good enough.

But who are these other Marvel executives? I thought Feige is the main man, and Marvel would trust him since he's produced so many hit movies so far. What's the point of longevity if the actor doesn't even turn out to be suitable or that great and they're just settling on a teen precisely for having someone long term in the role?

How about Skylar Gaertner for Peter Parker if they're going younger? I know he's playing a young Matt Murdock, but the audience will never know, especially if he grows a little bit in the next few years. :o

And if there is a DD/ Spidey crossover, DD can say to Spidey that he reminds him of himself when he was young. :o

Exactly, besides Garfield was about to be 31 portraying a high school graduate. And god knows how Old Tobey was in SM3.

Ya we don't need a 15 to 17 to hold for a ten yr deal. We can still do it with a 20 to 24 yr old and they still be young. Like I said I doubt past phase 3 peter would still be a teen. With the mcu real life timeline.

Tobey was only 30 in SM3.
Garfield was like two years older than Tobey when he was cast.

Doing everything the opposite of Sony just for the sake of it is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Marvel shouldn't go to the opposite extreme and cast a young teenager in the role just because Garfield was already in his late 20s for ASM1. They should still look at someone in their early 20s. It's not like the teen actors' pool is a veritable casting goldmine.

Agreed, with all the points. But then there's this. Marvel has made Captain America recently considered to be the dullest of characters pre Avengers into a badass post Winter Soldier. They have turned Groot and a talking Raccoon into pop culture icons as well as turned the fat guy from Parks and Rec into the perfect Starlord and successfully built up to one of the biggest events in comic history(Civil War).

Regardless whoever they choose they can probably pull off be the actor 15 or 35 years old they can do it. Because they're Mavrel...that being said I still want Dylan. XD

Dylan is a *****ey looking foolz!

That being said, the more I think and the more I see all these other suggestions...I can't help but think of him as the best choice.

That's because you haven't experienced the full onslaught of Disney/Nick actors yet. :o
