What truly worries me is they'll probably make another Maze Runner since there are 3 books(5 if you count the prequels) and O'Brien won't be able to shoot Spider-Man.

And they will probably cut the last one in part one and two since thats cool!because the one thing we need is more YA books being churned into trilogies

They should make Spider-Man's origin in two parts. Draw it out even longer than it has been already. :o

The director has already made it clear that Maze Runner pt 3 WON'T be a two parter.

this was actually asked of James Dashner (the author) if he was ok with splitting Death Cure (the 3rd book). he didnt like the idea because that would ruin the pace of the last act, plus the obvious fact that where the heck would they even put the split in?

although for you O'brien-as-Spidey fans that isnt really good news :p. Dashner is writing the 2nd book to the prequels of the Maze Runner trilogy and it features Thomas largely. its a big reason why im skeptical with the whole O'brien rumor because logistics-- where is he gonna fit Spidey, MR and TW in his schedule? unless he drops Teen Wolf..... :O

Recast Thomas give O'Brien to Marvel everyone is happy.

The final Maze Runner film shoots at the end of this year, and is just one part. So he'd have time.

And as far as the prequels go (should be made into films), they wouldn't need him until the second film in that series. So again, he'd have time.

If Dylan got the job, he'd be out of Teen Wolf like a shot. Spider-Man is a 'star-making' role. He'd be film-focused.

Well that's reassuring. Anyways, O'Brien for Spidey, perfect actor. Blah blah, you know the drill. XD

Oh definitely. Luckily for him, Teen Wolf is probably on its last 2 seasons anyway.

Sometimes when I see Dylan running from the Griever in Maze Runner I imagine Peter running from the Spider-Slayer.

Not to worry, my peeps already know I'm practically in love with O'Brien. it would come as no surprise. :)
Harryoscop: Do you fancy Dylan, for real?
I'm ok with it. My no 1 favorite for the role is still Logan.... Oops :woot:

lol fat chance thats ever gonna happen man. Fox might actually raise everybodys' paycheck to ensure that they got themselves another Hunger Games trilogy x2

You know what? I still think all of this is Marvel's fault. If they would've never revealed the release date of the film some of us would be able to expect that we'd have to wait longer to find out the actor.

But by revealing the entire MCU Phase 3 line up, Boseman as Black Panther, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, and the directors for Infinity War, alot of people expect them to be revealing things early just because they planned ahead.

People's impatience is not Marvel's fault.

Patience has long since been a lost concept to some. They want everything asap now on days.

If they want to choose a super young guy they probably have a good reason.
