You know I'm betting they casted Spider-Man already but won't reveal it.

johnny that is what i think folks are forgetting they look at the age and think oh now they cant be teen. By 2019 we will be past teen age peter if mcu films he is in and the first 2 solo films are counted in real time.

So ya even if marvel/sony want to do hs setting and hs peter with how time goes in mcu there is no way we could get more then 2 solo and 3 mcu films with him at 15-19 yrs old as character. That is one of the factors i havent kicked dylan or logan out. They would be filming all these films from now to 2018 and i doubt they be aging that much between these films. Yes they would look older when actual films are released and doing interviews/press. But by the time phase 3 is over i bet teen peter will be done with. And solo 3 and future films can be young adult/collage age peter of 20-25/or 24-28 yrs old. Counting on how many more films said actor does post phase 3 and timeframe of his appearances are. And at that point a late 20s dylan/logan wouldnt be that bad.

oscorp the difference here is vs andrew when he was first cast at 27 playing a what 17-18 yr old peter in first film. Is dylan or logan would have 3-5 films already shot and getting released by the age andrew even started filming. And like i said at this point teen peter story will likely be over. and we be going into young adulthood peter.

Exactly :D :applaud

for me if peter/spidey is to have an important part like i was saying in another thread even if he only on screen for a few minutes of overall time. They would likely have to have actor picked or at least have suit already designed out cause those things can take awhile to make and all that. And even if we just saw spidey suit has to be ready to go. IT just makes more sense to have peter set or already cast for civil war. Even if said actor isnt shooting when it starts in april.

Aramis Knight is the new contender:

ya kid looks alright for peter. But i dont know his age, height, what he been in and does he fit what we want for peter and spidey.

Aramis Knight could actually work for Pavitr Prabhakar.

He was born in 1999. So, 15-16 years old? According to Google he's 5'5" but IMDB lists him as 5'7 1/2"

Most recognizable thing on his filmography to me is Ender's Game. Has also done lots of guest-starring roles on TV. I don't remember him in any of those roles, so I can't really speak to his acting/comedy chops.

Isn't that the kid who played Daniel in Ghost Rider 2? If so, yeah no thanks, I really didn't think he was a good actor in that film at all. He's also got this mean look about him.

I think we have to keep in mind that we really don't know what Disney/Marvel/ and Sony's plan is for Peter Parker in terms of the timeframe of his life is. We don't know how many films he will be a sophomore let alone in highschool in college. We also have to remember that this is a Sony and Marvel joint deal with the solo films produced by Sony not Marvel. Sony has final creative control over what happens to the character so while the "real time" aspect applies to the solo and team up films for the exclusively Marvel characters, that does not mean that the real time aspect will totally apply to Sony's solo Spiderman films. At this point we don't know what time frame the solo films from Sony will be, whether they take place before Civil war or whether they take place a year later.

Now with Feige as producer we have to assume there's going to be coordination and they're going to have his creative imput. Still though , we have to keep in mind that this is shared custody agreement of a character , and not a total Marvel control of the property. Its still belongs to Sony, and they still have final creative word or veto power, and Pascel is still at the helm to an extent. So alot of the rules that have applied to characters they have sole creative control over may not totally apply to a character that has other obligations at another studio's film division.

Sony's in no position to be making such crazy moves right now after they drove spidey into the ground, so that sucks how much control they still have.

At the moment it feels like we're scraping the barrel throwing in every possible teenager out there. But since we are, let's throw in another couple of questionable choices which I in no way advocate:

Cameron Boyce (Age 15, known for Luke Ross on "Jessie"):

:pal:

Evan Roe (Age... who knows? - known for Jason McCord on "Madam Secretary")

Oh God NO NO NO!!!!

:/

Now someone has to top my Cameron Boyce suggestion with a worse suggestion. :hehe:

Teo Halm would be a good choice imo:

The kid from Earth to Echo. he even won a best actor award for his performance in that movie (tween award, but still).
I think his look is perfect and he would grow up to look like the adult Peter from the current comics.
