Well if he can't play Peter, then he should play HarryI haven't seen those guys, thankfully. So I don't know about those except that they look too young and non-Peter Parker. But Chandler Riggs might be the worst fan cast as Peter Parker that I have seen.

That seems to be the mindset of many people on these forums. Oh, not Peter? Well...give the guy the role as Harry (instead of actually casting Harry with care and thought).

he looks like my cousin, just my cousin has reddish hairHow about Bradley Steven Perry (Age 16, known for Good Luck Charlie and Mighty Med)?

My thoughts exactly!! you don't just cast a discarded actor for Harry... it's basically treating him like a second-rate Peter Parker. That seems to be the mindset of many people on these forums. Sony's in no position to be making such crazy moves right now after they drove spidey into the ground, so that sucks how much control they still have.
Well f to do logically we have to think with spidey in mcu the solo films have to fit within the mcu same goes with time frame. Even if we do have a 15 or 16 yr old peter in first solo film in 2017. The next solo film likely won't be out to 2019 the earliest. And since we already know infinity wars is 18 and 19. Thst would then also make solo 3 no earlier then 2020 or 2021 peter will be 15 16 in 2017 and be hitting 18 19 by 2019 or 2020. So he has to be done with hs stuff by then. You can't stretch it out forever. Cause then that would conflict with other mcu films.I think we have to keep in mind that we really don't know what Disney/Marvel/ and Sony's plan is for Peter Parker in terms of the timeframe of his life is. We don't know how many films he will be a sophomore let alone in highschool in college. We also have to remember that this is a Sony and Marvel joint deal with the solo films produced by Sony not Marvel. Sony has final creative control over what happens to the character so while the "real time" aspect applies to the solo and team up films for the exclusively Marvel characters, that does not mean that the real time aspect will totally apply to Sony's solo Spiderman films. At this point we don't know what time frame the solo films from Sony will be, whether they take place before Civil war or whether they take place a year later.
Now with Feige as producer we have to assume there's going to be coordination and they're going to have his creative imput. Still though , we have to keep in mind that this is shared custody agreement of a character , and not a total Marvel control of the property. Its still belongs to Sony, and they still have final creative word or veto power, and Pascel is still at the helm to an extent. So alot of the rules that have applied to characters they have sole creative control over may not totally apply to a character that has other obligations at another studio's film division.

At the moment it feels like we're scraping the barrel throwing in every possible teenager out there. But since we are, let's throw in another couple of questionable choices which I in no way advocate:
Cameron Boyce (Age 15, known for Luke Ross on "Jessie"):

Evan Roe (Age... who knows? - known for Jason McCord on "Madam Secretary")

Peter and Harry are nothing alike, so the actor who failed to get the Peter role shouldn't be automatically pigeon-holed into the part of Harry.
And what a crappy consolation prize that would be. Imagine going for the part of the everyman Peter Parker who will be the future face of the MCU only to end up as the creepy best friend.
Who would be the worst choice In your opinion?I have to say that the pool of teenage actors who would fall into the right age bracket for a 14-16 year old Peter is pretty terrible. There isn't one single one who wouldn't seem just like Marvel are settling for that choice just for the sake of longevity in the role a la Harry Potter.
Who would be the worst choice In your opinion?

Isaac Hempstead-Wright I think. That's if we're talking about vaguely realistic choices. If we're talking about completely idiotic choices, then Cameron Boyce would be quite low down there. Of course, someone is probably going to like that choice and start championing him for the role of Peter.![]()

also second we really don't know how much control sony even has any more creatively. If we are to believe most reports. They are not handling the creative stuff and just footing the bill for film and get there name on movie. And creative stuff is all marvel. If that's true marvel likely won't keep peter in hs forever.
