Whys everyone suddenly campaigning for Lerman for the role?

1.) Didn't care for The Lightning Thief, but I really liked Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters

2.) I went back and took a look at him and went "Holy sh**!" at the resemblance with this version of Peter Parker:

Garfield was way better then bale or evans. His devilry on the jokes where great and the emotion and devilry when gwened died and with ant may on your my boy has while has when gwen comes to the power plant towards the end. I could go on and on.

I'd say that Evans was as good as Garfield. Evans is usually a more comedic actor and people weren't sure he'd have the dramatic chops for Cap, but he proved everyone wrong.

Now as far as Lerman goes, would it be weird if his Peter Parker has a poster of Percy Jackson on his wall? Maybe he's a fan of the actor.

Well, somebody has already come up with a good one...that Marvel Studios were behind thr Sony hack in order to force their hand in the Spidey deal

Dylan O'Brian and Logan Lerman are good choices. If the rights revert to Marvel this suggestion won't work, but I think Dylan Minnette would be good.

I feel like you're missing my point, once again I liked Andrew a lot in the role.
Also the fact that you didn't bring up Downey here sort of proves my point, you can argue Bale and Evans haven't really defined their role either, but the fact that you don't bother to say he's better than Downey is basically what I'm saying.
Downey is Tony Stark in a way Harrison Ford is Indiana Jones. To cast anyone else in that role seems almost blasphemous at this point. Garfield as Spider-man is nowhere near that level yet, so I won't have any problem liking whoever they cast next in the role.

I never used to like Logan. But he looks fantastic in Fury and it's changed my mind about him.

have you seen perks of being a wallflower? it's to Logan Lerman what Social Network was to Andrew Garfield. by which I mean even though there isn't a lot of reference for Logan's acting abilities, he blows is out of the water in that film. And just recently Logan's hit the age where he doesn't have the face of a third grader anymore

Is Lerman support that out of the blue? I remember his name came up for Amazing Spider-Man at one point. I thought the response seemed pretty favorable then.

Most likely, (and reports now suggest that it is the plan) the first solo film will be in 2019, so Lerman and O'brein will be 26 and 27 and both look their ages, so I'm not sure they could play a high schooler in 4 years time.

I'm sure it's going to be someone who is at least a teenager now, if not someone with a Garfield like baby face. *cough Sangster
