This is the past.

Will the Lakers repeat?

Will Cleveland get LeBron help?

Will Shaq finally shut up?

Will LastSunrise keep crying about how he hates the Lakers?

Talk about it here!

The Official 2009-2010 NBA Thread!!!!!

I still don't and will never respect this Laker team of arrogant classless individuals.

It would be nice for the Cavs to get Shaq. I still don't think they need him.

If Cavs get Shaq, it'd just be a desperate move and an attempt to try to get LeBron to stay by gambling that Shaq will help them going all the way to the Finals, which I don't think will happen.

I honestly don't think LeBron is going to leave Cleveland. Why go somewhere and start from scratch? He has a good team now. There's no need for him to start over with a completely different team and build chemistry with them. It could take awhile IMO. He doesn't need to go to New York for money. He already has that.

I guarantee that this thread will be better than the last one.

I just wanted to comment on the McGrady to New York rumor posted in the other thread. I'd not mind him as a one year (well half a year) rental. It would depend on what we gave up for him, though.

Isiah isn't running the show anymore, thank goodness, or he'd have traded the 8th pick, Wilson Chandler and David Lee and probably future picks for McGrady.

I'm sure Donnie will be busy this off season, and I have faith he'll get one or two good deals done before training camp.

The only good to come out of that picture posted up top is the "little Mexican girl" as Karl Malone once put it.

Adam Morrison's mustache will add a second championship next season.

I guarantee that Darth will win the playoff pool next time.

I wasn't in the pool this year, it'll be a whole different story next time

McGrady to New York can only be an upgrade for at least one season. I mean making it to the first round of the playoffs, & then choking would actually be an improvement.:o

I think it would be interesting if Lebron just go ahead and leave. Go to the NYKnicks, Shaq get traded there, and Hedo goes there........... but that would probably kill their cap. ;)

Hedo? :hehe:

Love how everyone thinks this guy is a top-notch player after a few good playoff performances.

Never said he was top-notched... but he is a free agent and can give you outside shooting, and a few rebounds & assist. Don't discount that. NY has many needs.

I remember when he was just Peja's under study in Sacramento.

Not singling you out, I meant in general. He can contribute to a team that already has a couple of pieces in place, which is why he was good in Orlando, but people can't expect him to sign on with the Knicks or a team that has no supporting cast and do what he did with the Magic.

Exactly... why I included Shaq, King James & and this pipe-dream. :)
