Exactly. But I don't know if he's discovering what's happened ot him or if it's just him reflecting on himself. Like maybe the first scene after his parents leave.

the scene with the web is

that scene to me is introspective....like he's remembering that night

I'm hoping this plays well with General Audiences, having the whole origin sequence again in the trailer could put off a lot of people, since the Raimi series is still fresh in their heads. I liked the trailer, especially the POV stuff.

What I'm sick of are the "We don't need another movie so soon" comments. Don't hate on the new movie just because Raimi failed. If I remember right they wanted to go until Spidey 6, and if Raimi had made Spidey 3 better, that just might be happening. Raimi fans should be mad at him, not Webb and Garfield. Don't get me wrong, I love Spidey 1 and 2, but that attitude just pisses me off. And honestly, this is the way it should be done. Why would you want to wait another 20 years for new Spidey movies? Nolan's Batman trilogy will always hold a special place for me, I love them, but when he wraps everything up with TDKR, why should Batman be out of the game until 2030 or something? Wait another 5 years and then start a new franchise, let someone else do their take on Batman. The time is right for a new Spidey franchise, and it's looking awesome. New movies do not make the old ones cease to exist.

um no one mentioned it for a few pages

I think it depends on what time you grew up in. I grew up in the Pierce B. Bond age, and still he is my favorite bond.

Well I grew up in that era too but with me, I've never been comfortable with just knowing what is presented in my era, I want to know the history of something once I really get into it and I am a huge huge James Bond fan, books included and I've always felt that Pierce made one really good movie in Goldeneye and the other three were either OK or bad. I much prefer Sean or Daniel Craig as Bond but my point was, Sean was the first guy to play the character and made the biggest cultural impact and to a lot of fans, especially the older ones, he is still James Bond but EON still makes good movies and is a very successful production company. The fans are smart enough to know that this guy I'm watching on screen isn't going to be here forever and EON is very smart to understand when something works (Goldeneye, From Russia With Love, Casino Royale, Goldfinger) and when it doesn't (Die Another Day, A View to A Kill)

I was reading some Ultimate Spider-Man the other day, and one thing that cracked me up was when Goblin attacked the school and Spidey jumped back in and asked to see Goblin's hall pass. I'd love if he said something like that in the movie, if he fights Lizard in the school.

Ahh, UU Norman Osborn.

I remember this one issue where the Osborns return to New York some time after the Green Goblin incident at the school. Harry has undergone hypnosis to repress memories of his father being the Goblin.

Norman invites Peter (and I think Mary Jane) over for dinner. As soon as Peter arrives, Norman asks to speak with him in private.

Peter walks inside this dark room with Spider-Man news footage playing on a big screen, and Osborn walks out into the open and goes on this strange rant about how Peter is done being Spider-Man, and that he belongs to him now. And then injects himself with OZ for the sole purpose of scaring the hell out of Peter. It worked.

I was like "Man, this guy's a total creep."

What time does Sony have their panel for TAS at SDCC tomorrow?

they're presenting 4 movies..starts at 4 PT ends at 530 PT so it hasn't been said in what order are they presenting..Spidey, Total Recall, Ghost Rider and 30 minutes or less

no my PS3 took a bye bye on me...grrrrr

Those might not be all their kids and they may have invited a bunch of people over for dinner
