Those are the two greatest movies of all time to attach the Amazing Spider Man trailer with. Everyone and their dog is going to see the Vow. Especially Spider Man fans. They're both practically the same genre, eh? Same with Journey 2, well, as long as Spider Man doesn't play after bed time.

Oh well at least we're getting the trailer before Ghost Rider. 4 months too late if you ask me.

Even though the Feb. 9th rumor has high chance of being right, I am still not gonna be expecting a trailer so much and thinking that it is definitely the day that the trailer comes. I refuse to be disappointed again.
 
I really want to see a trailer that shows more of the direct plot of the film, and I hope Sony doesn't just make it nothing but action. Granted, action is what Spider-Man IS, but I want to see more of the kind of feel Marc is going to give us with the relationship that will be close between Dr. Connors and Pete. To me, the action comes second.
 
The teaser trailer showed us who Peter is before he became Spider-Man, and just what exactly he'll be getting into when he gets his powers. I think the trailer will have more of a focus on Spider-Man's world (being chased by police, Lizard, etc).

Thanks. :yay: Although maybe there's an Imax theater where my Grandma lives. We used to go to movies together all the time whenever I'd visit, so I'm sure she wouldn't mind [especially since I'd pay for my own ticket]. I should be able to see it where I live though.

Agreed. I think so too.

I was hoping for an extended trailer bit it looks like that won't happen.

Agreed.

I want a 45/55 split between Peter's world and Spidey's world respectively.
 
Yeah I see this trailer with a break through from the Lizard and Spidey action

I don't know what the **** Sony's doing... It totally seems like they're dropping the ball, when they should be marketing the hell out of this movie now. Not later, but NOW! No other superhero movie needs it more! They've got RISES chopping right at their crackhole, and they act like they couldn't care less!? When Nolans Rises opens, Spidey will be knocked out, this is just a fact. And even worse if people don't know about the movie! Sony! Get your thumb out of your god damn butts and release that freaken trailer! Fot their sake, I reeeally, truly hope that this next trailer kicks ass of massive proportions, otherwise they're just screwed! No more teaser crap. They better bring it like a volcano in eruption!! They can't afford to be small about it, it's that simple!

I saw the first teaser in theaters with Captain America and OMG it was fricken AMAZING!:woot:

The POV scene can't be loved until you see it in 3D.

The footage quality though is ASTOUNDING.

We've already established that its impossible for TASM not to make money. It has the best opening weekend spot of the year, maybe of all time in that it releases July 4th weekend, the biggest movie going weekend of the year, and it releases all alone; Not ONE OTHER MOVIE IS OPENING THAT WEEKEND. NONE!!!!!!!! NONE!!!!

Yes, Sony needs to amp up the marketing but I can more than assure you that that will indeed happen in the weeks and months after the trailer is released.

For me it's a toss up between July 4 weekend and early May for best spots. Spidey will make major cash, but this year in particular I prefer the Avengers spot.
