Yeah, he crosses the line way to often. Mayweather's "Money" persona is an act to sell and to be honest, it works. Whereas Broner is just straight up ignorant. It's a wonder he hasn't been taken care of on the street.

Yeah, I don't view Mayweather as the idiot that he is during his tours and press conferences. Floyd is an intelligent and fairly humble guy when the cameras are off. By now, I'm positive most fight fans are aware that his 'Money' persona is simply used to sell PPVs.

Broner, however, is an ignorant mutha****** in every sense. Guys like him usually come back to Earth quite hard though.

I like Khan but the guy has such a weak chin, man. Mayweather could literally knock him out with a hard jab. It's a shame too. Khan has the speed and moves.

Still sleeping on Miguel I see? Guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that, but in any event I'm thinking it's going to be a good fight.

When Cotto is knocked out before the 6th round, I will be here to remind you of how I told you so. :o

I saw the Khan fight and though he dominated, I could have sworn that dude hurt him for a minute and I don't even think he realized it. I will watch the fight again on replay but Khan does indeed have a glass chin but he has some extremely fast hands!

Good job WBC on not letting that racist bastard Broner fight for any of their belts. I knew his racist remarks would be swept under the rug. Had a Mexican said something similar, I guarantee it would've been all over the news, and Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would've booked first class tickets to Mexico demanding an apology.

As far as Mayweather/Maidana go, hopefully if Mayweather does give him the rematch and allows Maidana to use the gloves he wants and not those sparring gloves he made him use. A complete b-ch move on Mayweather's part, but it is Mayweather he crying like a b-ch over gloves is par for the course.

Broner isn't racist, he's just stupid. He did say anyone "can" get it. African, Mexican..............and that's as far as he got. People are so quick to throw that race card around when it's not even necessary or the case.

As far as gloves go, I'm not to familiar with it but I don't think it would have made a difference because Maidana missed A LOT in the fight. But if Maidana thinks so, then maybe there's a reason why Floyd wanted it banned so bad and I can't blame him.

Exactly (For the record, he said African and Mexican). But we also know Stark is quick to use reverse racism on Black people, which leads me to believe he's somewhat racist himself. Besides the fact that nobody brings up racism in here except him, I can't think of anything good he's ever said about any Black fighter the whole time he's been in here. Yet he tries to turn around and throw that against anybody who doesn't agree with him.

The one thing all three of us agree on though, is Broner being an idiot. Perhaps if he didn't get his ass beat and his star dampened a bit by Maidana, it would've been a bigger story. Still, I certainly saw it talked about in different outlets that have nothing to do with boxing.

That's just more hypocrisy, because when De La Hoya changed the gloves, the weight AND the ring size, Floyd was just expected to deal with it. He was the young star on the rise and Oscar was the big name so nobody gave a damn about all those demands when Oscar made them. Now Floyd is a lesser fighter for requesting just one of those things? SMH...

The difference was that in the Oscar/Mayweather fight, the gloves, ring etc. were all IN the contract before the fight. Maidana/Floyd contract stipulated that either fighter could use whatever gloves they wanted. Mayweather even banned Cleto Reyes gloves from the fight! Complete b-ch move.

Btw if he so concerned about fighters health then why did the Mayweather camp let J'Leon Love fight with the Everlast MX gloves?

Broner not a racist? The same guy that has called an opponent a burrito eater, called another opponent a wetb***, said when it comes to style 'at the end of the day, he's just a Mexican'. Gtfo, had it been the other way around there would've been a huge outcry, see the Clippers owner, Fuzzy Zoeller and Sergio Garcia, Paula Deen and on and on. I guess those that I mentioned aren't racist?

You are the ONLY person who brings up race in a boxing thread! You even want on a rant about two pages back that had no place here. In my experiences in life, anyone who constantly sees things like that nonstop, tend to be some of the biggest racists there are! You bring it up out of the blue and won't let it go.

:funny:

Yeah I heard about it earlier today isn't he the same idiot who called out a UFC fighter? Me thinks he has a death wish.

Dude has been begging for an ass whoopin and he got it. I don't know what good he thought would possibly come out of meeting a 6'7 black dude who's solid muscle that he constantly called the n word and said he would rape his daughter. Poor guy. :csad:

Stiverne V Arreola tonight for the WBC Heavyweight title that Vitali vacated. Winner I thnik will get Wilder and the winner of that Wlad Klitschko.

Don't turn it around on me, Broner is a know racist and a straight P.O.S.

Good win by Stiverne, him vs Wilder should be a barn burner.

Speaking of Wilder, he just made me a huge fan of his by beating the crap out of that internet troll. Even though Wilder knows he may have mental issues, he taught him a lesson and was classy doing so. Big ups on him.

Juan Manuel Marquez v Mike Alvarado tonight at a catchweight I think. I fancy JMM but both coming off defeat's.

I want JMM to win but I don't want a fifth fight with Manny. Enough already.

Agreed. I don't care how exciting the fights are. I don't wanna see the same thing for the 5th time.

JMM came to fight. Great performance, got careless a bunch of times towards the end. What a legend. I also dont want another Pac and JMM fight.

Exciting fight, but I don't want to see a fifth fight with Pac, rather see him vs Provodikov or Bradley.

Floyd Mayweather is set to fight September 13, 2014. Who do you think would be his opponent? Will it be Khan , Pacquiao or someone else ??

Im not too interested in Maidana since Floyd had Maidana figured out by the 6th round. It might get ugly for Maidana in the rematch. Pacquiao is impossible IMO, so it may be Khan.

it won't be Khan he'll be coming out of Ramadan so no training and he's got a kid on the way too. That fight next May is nailed on though.

Maidana rematch or maybe Thurman is my guess.

I can't believe Paq resigned with Bob Arum! Now unless the cold war ends, we won't see Paq fight a Broner, Thurman, Mattyhsee, or any of the other top welterweights. I swear Arum has dirt on him because there is no logical reason for him to resign. Also, neither Mayweather nor Manny have an opponent signed thus far and they both seem to have very slim pickings unless its another rematch. It's also amazing that neither one of them has a fight but you don't hear either of them calling each other out. But watch as soon as one of them signs to fight someone else, they keep bringing up the other guy's name.

Pac is very loyal, as much as it sucks I really can't blame or fault him. Dumb or not.

The ball is in Mayweather and Shaefer's court now, Arum went on record saying he'd deal with Golden Boy and Sheafer, it's Mayweather and Sheafer that don't want to deal with Arum at this point in time.

Btw, I still don't see why the media and Mayweather are making a big deal about beating Marciano's record and 50-0, Chavez Sr was 88-0 at one point. But I guess since he wasn't American it doesn't count.
