Oh by the way Wlad Klitschko in action tomorrow night against Pulev. The guy ha a win over Tony Thompson so he's no mug but I expect a boring UD win for Wlad then Shannon Briggs yo gatecrash the post fight interview.

Yeah. It's been bad for a long time. I'll watch the Klitschko fight tomorrow but I do it almost out of obligation rather than anticipation.

Yeah it sucks. That's why I don't know why Wlad isn't kissing the ring of Briggs. He's bringing a little interest into the division, a la wrestling style. Without it, that division is dead, but I don't think any division is deader than the Cruiserweight division. There is literally no one there.

The only time the cruiserweight division had any star power was when Holyfield fought there.

The HW division is completely dead in the US, but thriving in Europe and the eastern bloc. That arena was packed!

Briggs needs to let it go, he doesn't deserve squat, he's a fool. Vitali almost killed him when they fought years ago, Wlad would probably finish him.

If I were Wlad, I'd tell him sure I'll fight you, but at a 95/5 split, something ridiculous like that. No way does he deserve a big payday.

Wlad had him down twice in the first and got Ko'd in the fifth. Most fighters are too scared to come forward against him but Pulev did and that was the result.

I can see Wilder being fed to Wlad just to get Americans talkin' again.

I don't think Algieri wins, but I can't see him getting knocked out either. Provodnikov, at least at this stage of their careers, seems to be a much stronger puncher than Manny, and Algieri showed tremendous heart during that match. It's possible he gets dropped a few times again, but I think it'll be a competitive fight...

Manny's biggest advantage will be his speed. If he can overwhelm Algieri with it, perhaps he can get a stoppage.

I'm not watching this until next weekend unless the wife can find a free site to stream it from(she's a filipina and even she's tired of Manny fighting bums)which she probably might. Anyway, I'm picking Manny to win via KO but if it goes 12, I'm picking Chris Algebra, no typo. He's a taller boxer who I think will give Manny problems, plus knowing Arum, I wouldn't be surprised if he screws Manny for his new meal ticket.

Lets go Algieri!! Him winning would essentially put a stop to the potential Pac/Mayweather fight. Neither of them deserve the huge payday and the Mexican holidays would rightfully return to a Mexican figther (Canelo).

Algieri was way out of his depth here knockdown six times but I give him credit for taking it to 12 rounds. Had this been the Pacman of 4 years ago this guy would've been done in six round.s

Algieri was fed to Manny to make him look good. Don't get me wrong, he's a good boxer but I don't think anyone really thought he'd have any chance of beating him. Had Mayweather fought Algieri, he would have gotten slaughtered in the media.

Did anyone see the post fight interviews? When asked about Floyd, Manny really seemed to get excited because I do believe he wants the fight. But when Arum spoke, you can literally see Manny get deflated with Bob's answer. A blind man can see that Bob Arum is the reason this fight has not happened. He has mentioned Mayweather's name through out this entire process but now that they are both free and have no fights planned at this moment, let's see if he says his name now or mentions some guys from Top Rank.
