The official brainiac casting

Morgan edge would be great..i've been suggesting Ian McShane for him from the start.

McShane is a fine choice for Edge, Green man. Knuckle bump it. Might even have too rip ya off here because I am currently without an Edge casting choice though I want him in the film.

You could even have it uncovered by Lois at some point that Edge is recieving funding from Luthor and LexCorp. Lois is actually a key to Lex's storyline in my opinion. It is Lois who should be the one person who believes Luthor too be an evil son of a *****. Everyone else is fooled, even Superman prior to meeting and getting to know Lois. Because she believes, Superman trusts her and begins to see it as well.

Bit of different casting but what about Marc Warren. He has that otherworldliness and plays a great villian.

I feel like I'm a little bit biased against goode, since the only thing I've seen him in is watchmen. Even though I liked the movie, I thought he was horribly miscast. He might be more suited to braniac though, so who knows.

I just really hope Brainiac's included in this go-round. If not him, some other non-Earthbound villain, please.

If Hugo Weaving weren't already playing the "Red Skull" for Marvel films, I would have thought that he'd be a good choice to play Brainiac, especially when i remember his performance as Mr. Smith from the Matrix.

we need a Bigger name for the villain to draw in the general public who ain't interested in superman.

hugo weaving is just overly done for villain role.

i still think keanu reeves is perfect. he has done action hero all the time. and this could be his first big villain role! public would love to see how he handle a super villain role.

A really big name for Brainiac here, one that might work, Johnny Depp. The dude becomes whatever character he plays. ( not that it would happen in a million years tho)

I am kinda hoping for Brainiac drones...have them scattered throughout the planet and superman has to take each one down..maybe each one could be stronger and slightly different looking than the last.

Brainiac deploying swarm intelligence drones at Supes would be awesome to behold. Like the sentinels in The Matrix. Would like to see the inside of Brainiac's ship look something like the below. Brainiac controlling a giant hive of drones.

We know that Goyer has been looking at Geoff Johns' work on Superman (according to his write-up in 'Secret Orgins') so I wouldn't be surprised IF Goyer wanted to use Brainiac and use that version in particular.
