The new EW has a small bit on Brandon, it's a breakout stars of 2004 issue and lists him at the top of new stars to watch in the upcoming year. Doesnt say much really and has a pic but nothing new.

It's actually not, it's a face shot and he's got a big ol grin on his face, Ive seen it around here somewhere. It seems Time-Warner who owns EW is looking to promote him and the movie quite a bit if they are starting this early. I also get the feeling that is where we will see the first suit pic as well, it's where the first one of Batman showed up officially I believe.

The biggest break-out star of 2004 female was none other than Ms. Lilly.

He's unknown, so no, he isn't famous. Routh looks like a whole host of people.

I'm not a Brandon hater, or a Welling supporter, or anything like that. I was just your average Joe who was going to be happy with whatever Superman was cast, as long as the actor himself handled it well.

Something has really bothered me as of late though. The fact that Brandon Routh was officially named Superman, yet we hear nothing about him apart from some biographical facts, things he's starred in, etc.

Wouldn't some of the biggest casting news in recent memory be more publicized? Shouldn't we see Brandon all over every magazine cover, on every talk show, talking about excited he is to be filling the shoes of Christopher Reeve?

This has lead me to believe that maybe he is a P.R. stunt? That there is another official Superman out there, we just don't know it yet.

I could be wrong, and am excited about what Brandon will do as Supes, but I'm still skeptical.

interesting, but he does have a point, the only major thing i have seen was on the lastest entertainment weekly and it was as small side paragraph on like page 23 that stated he was close to signing. i am not trying to bring anything up , its just wired as Dragyn1 stated that, his announcement has not be greatly publicized.
but chance are leaning more to batgirl. on the notion that the really don't want to **** this up, so it is under raps.
but we also have singer and harris, talking about this money like a party the went to the night before, so i don't knwo how much under wraps th emovie is.
