Oh, man. I hope Routh's Superman suit looks better than this....

Don't worry, it'll look much better on film. That's a studio pic taken for promotional purposes only. I think it was sent to toy makers or something like that. The way the suit look is intentional. You'll understand when (or if you ever) you see the movie. Wait for the sequels for his finalized suit.

Yes, I agree. But I'd still wait to see how he'll look in the movie. It could be because he's tilting his head forward. That and something to do with how he got (or made) the cowl in the story, I presume. (haven't read the script myself) If you saw the last teaser, it really doesn't look bad in the snippets we saw of him.

seriously speaking, i found routh not that 'attactive', though i think he is the best among the candidates mentioned previously and is surely better than TW and JC. i don't know... i think he lacks of 'charms'... you know the 'charm' that will pull you to study on it...
