superfever said:king krypton, you know, i always listen to you because your points are very logical and making so much sense (most of the time). but the way you talked about batman begin make me worry. what's wrong with it? isn't the script interesting? not that i'm very concern about batman but the result of this batman movie will surely have an impact on superman. i don't want batman fail.
It looks great on film IMOSverdlovski said:Sage, with all due respect, the Batman suit is not good.

sage1047 said:It won't. With all due respect to King Krypton, while I appreciate his comments on Superman, and though I do agree with many of them, I feel the opposite about Batman Begins. A good suit, which works in terms of the story. A good script, one that IGN voted as one of the best of 2004. A director who seems to know what's he doing. A great cast, a good lead who sought after the role, gets the character, even has read some of the source material, as well as has the dedication to do what needs to be done. IMO, Batman Begins will rock the house and set the stage for the Big Two's return to the big screen.
God I hope not.Alonsovich said:Then get used to it because most likely you'll get a Superman version of that for Singer's movie... with clasps...

Alonsovich said:Just remember what the X-men costumes looked like in the films, remember BB is now WB's standard of how to make a superhero film, and remember that most possibly the suit will come from Krypton...
Just remeber that Superman is not Xmen, that this new movie will have some sort of connection with STM and SII, just remeber how iconic Superman costume is...Alonsovich said:Just remember what the X-men costumes looked like in the films, remember BB is now WB's standard of how to make a superhero film, and remember that most possibly the suit will come from Krypton...
About the Batman suit... let's just say I was expecting something different this time.sage1047 said:And cocaine is good for you.
It looks good in movie stills so I know it'll look good on film.

I agree although i think Singer made a mistake not putting some Colour in the X Men suits I really don't think he'll make the same mistake with Superman,I do think he'll need stronger looking material than the reeve's suit and the red/blue will be darker imoIT is Batgirl said:Singer's not an idiot. He knows how iconic Supes' suit is. I don't think he'll let the WB push him around and have him make the suit bizarre.

WB cares about money... they though Burton would bring them a lot of cash with his gothic ideas for Superman. Thank God BR tanked because if not SL would have been made.Alonsovich said:And you think WB cares? The same studio that wanted to do Burton and McG's films...
Key word... "vague"...
And WB cares just about that right?

Then WB tried with their 'cool' directors, Brett Ratner and McG, revitalize Superman. But once again, bad fan reaction, and the fact that some execs didn't really trust in McG or Rattner, made the project stop.
Bryan Singer came in, with his ideas, and had the fan support, WB realize they would make TONS of money with him, so they hired him and are behind his choices 100%.
Bryan is directing, is one of the producers, and visualized the story. This project is his dream, and he has total (or almost) control of it. He won't screw it up.
Hope he invested in diapers, cuz if this thing is crap....Pickle-El said:exactly.
This is Singer's baby.
