Well, none of us are actresses in Hollywood, fortunately.
It's kind of sad. Society's (and especially male society's) vision of what an attractive woman is supposed to look like ends up sending most actresses under the knife before they even hit forty. And then, by the time the plastic surgery starts to show -- or if they get a few wrinkles -- actresses are tossed on a scrap heap of terrible roles or they're simply left behind. Actors, however, keep getting the creme de la creme of roles until they're in their sixties and seventies. My God, Harrison Ford is still considered a leading man and he's in his middle sixties. But his love interest would probably be in her thirties -- young enough to be his daughter (hello, Calista).
Irks me to death.
Anyway, it sounds like Kidman might have gone overboard, which is a shame.
On another note, it's about time we got that high-resolution photo of Routh. Too bad it was the same one we've seen before though.
