Hmmmmm

If there were a thread where everyone posted their pic - that would probably end any confusion like that.

I've tried stuff like that here before, I tried a lounge and a post your pic, if you want to go for it again though DT. You have my blessing for sure, even though you don't need it!

I'm not sure if this was posted, I remember a "going back to Sci Fi" quote by singer by I can't remember if it was this interview.

http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-e...-the-misfit-with-the-midas-touch-1242191.html

While this is another example of Singer challenging the status quo, he's uncertain what to do next. He's not sure if it will be Man of Steel, the proposed sequel to Superman Returns. "I keep hearing that rumour but I don't know. I definitely would like to return to science fiction/fantasy. I'm very at home in that genre."

He says he's still obsessed by remaking Logan's Run, the 1976 film about a futuristic world where life must end at 30. "That one weighs heavily on my mind," he says. "There's something about young people fighting age and eventual death." Certainly, the anti-authoritarian Logan is the perfect Singer character – swimming upstream to fight the system.

Then hear is my question Showtime. What is his involvement with Superman really? I mean it seems like he could still direct this movie can that be true?

what i remember from hearing from singer about something scifi is he would like to work on a scifi pic in the near future. It was in one of those recent interviews from his new film.

Valkyrie, despite what certain morons from Save Superman claiming is a flop and "something to laugh at," is actually doing solid business.

Last I checked, King-Jackass (who runs said site) isn't a box-office expert. All he needs to do is make sure my tee-shirts are made from 100% real cotton! :o

yea yea i know what steve and some of the others posters there have said. Yes it is doing well but itsnt a super huge BO yet. But a good bo figures so far and all that. As for the film itself i havent seen it and probably likely wont for awhile. The film didnt peak my interests at all to see it.

LOL

when will you ever ease up on that site.

That movie was not made to be a Super-huge big Box Office hit. In fact most war drama's are rarely huge box office hits and more or less hits with the critics.

Valkyrie was projected to pull in around $18-19 million over the four Christmas weekend and wound up with just under $30 million.

It was never expected to do "super huge BO," but the fact that it'll wind up with around $80-85 million domestic is solid as Hell. And it's certainly shut up the critics who proclaimed it would flop...except for King Jackass.

yea i think i even said over at steve's site myself it has a decent bo and all that. But yes not a flop like steve/others said or others would have liked.(and to be honest i myself would have liked to seen it flop). But yes its probably will taken in 80-85million for final us figures and acouple hundred thousand more foreign releases. I have heard it hasnt gone full foreign releases yet right?

Why? That is so stupid!

It's a huge score for United Artists, Tom Cruise, and Bryan Singer. The film performed beyond expectations.

One film has nothing to do with the other in regards to the performance.

I sense folks are a little nervous that Valkyrie is doing better than expected.
(loved the King-Jackass tag by the way:D)

I wasn't saying you did, which is why I didn't quote you. I was just responding to the fact that was a silly rumor.

You weren't talking to me in another thread, but you did quote me.

That makes you my bizzaro or me, yours.

Apparently, King Jackass has been right about "EVERYTHING ELSE about 99% of the time??" and yet never gives examples and/or links. :o

It's not like he'd actually show up over here. :whatever:
