why do fanboys get offended and then start mocking a person due to their views. i have yet to once belittle or talk any person down on these forums but the production of the movie. Why cant people make valid point regard the film whether we agree or not? why must i be called names? I find that quite immature of people when we are clearly discussing a FILM.

We dont know one another and none of us know what good we do for others or in what ways we contribute to our society to better our selves etc so why would we name call one another because we have a disagreement in perspective on a subject?

Yet once again showing that Marvel Studios doesn't make crap movies.....PERIOD.

They've made 5 films in a row and NONE OF THEM are rotten.

Iron Man - 94%
The Incredible Hulk - 66%
Iron Man 2 - 74%
Thor - 77%
Captain America - 69% so far

This great and hopefully We will get 90 or higher next Summer with The Avengers

And top critics were at 73%, but are now at 67%
I just want the movie to stay fresh at this point.

Ya they have not been watching RT then lol. It happens all the time. Perfect example was The Prestige it originally for a while was like in the 30% range, and ended in the high 70's.

Thor was a very good movie. Far from mediocre.

Sorry im not into the romantic comedy style superhero movies. Im more into the serious tone, dark, mature types that dont rely on slap stick humor such as the god of thunder being shocked by some chick and he falls wiggling. thats not my style of Superhero film.

I'm more into gritty, crime drama style such as Watchmen, TDK, The Crow, Blade, etc as far as target audience. I prefer superhero movies made for those who grew up with them and not for a new audience to appreciate them. TDK was made for people who grew up 3 decades ago and could care less about the teens of today and what they find funny or not. It was more self important on the dramatic values of comic books rather than the FUN factor of them. I liked Kick Ass to be the fun it was, but it was still very brutal.

Captain america is based on a character who was designed as a punchline to the NAZI era...there is nothing supposed to be FUN about that. X men got that aspect down, Thor didnt. You felt the Nazi brutality in First Class to an extent, but in Thor i felt NO threat at all from any of the characters nor did i have a reason to root for Thor any more than for Loki. Just not my style. there were no layers and the style of filming was uninnovative

I think this film will end up staying in the 70s. We still have a long way to go.

I'm encouraged by Cap's rise to 'fresh' territory in RT, and I hope it will remain this way. There are still many reviews yet to be posted, though.

RT is advertising CAP, so let's relax on the conspiracy theory. By tomorrow it will have worked itself out and we will be looking at 80%. No need to worry though, CAP is gonna pull in 70 mill strong this weekend so who cares how "professional" critics review it.
