Heh, and I thought it was a romantic comedy. Sounds more like a two-hour man bash.

Question:

Should we have a set deadline time? I ask because I was under the impression that opening debates had to be up by early afternoon. Which to me would be like around noon-1:00. I have been bit several times by people waiting until the evening (I consider after 6:00, evening to as late as Midnight) to do their opening debates. Forcing me to work in a half-ass rebuttal(s) during that night or having to do it at work the next morning (as debating usually ends in early afternoon). I don't know how many more times I could get away with doing that.

What we've been doing, since we've had later voting times the next day, is opening debates have to be in by the time I leave work on Tuesday. Harlekin got them in around 3 PM my time this week, I believe. If it's later than that, then it's up to the opponent if they allow it.

Personally, if someone puts up a late opening debate and the other person doesnt' get a chance to rebutt, then it does way on my decision.

Well, most matches are already determined. There are two ties, though...both your matches: Thread 1 Sunfire vs. Ms. Marvel and Thread 2 Kylun vs. Neutron.

There are two matches in Thread 1 that could change direction, but are at 4-2: Pilgrimm vs. Magik and Myterio vs. Devil-Slayer.

Other than those four, it's pretty evident how the other matches would turn out.

What I'll do it get the pictures ready for posting...that should take a good hour or more; and, in the meantime, we'll see if we get any additional voting. IF SOMEONE IS GOING TO VOTE, LET US KNOW WITH A MESSAGE HERE, SO I KNOW NOT TO END VOTING!!!!

Well, I have all my images ready...but, I know for the last bunch of weeks, nobody has gotten around to doing debates early. So, I'll take a break and come back a bit later. I pmed Random; so, we'll see if he can get around to some votes.

Changing topics, my son and I will be seeing Aliens tonight. A somewhat local theater is having classic movies after 9 PM on weekends, and this one is showing this week. Can't wait to see it again on the big screen.

Ugh, the list of characters up this round is pretty sad. The only debate that looks really interesting to me is power princess vs stature. That's a great match-up right there.


On another note: I've noticed a fair amount of characters not getting any debates posted on their behalf, if there're any like that that you'd like represented, I'm willing to debate for them if no one objects and if someone wants to let me know who to do it for. Gracias.

I'm just going with your idea, Wiegeabo. Random will currently take over WitchKing's characters, as I think in the last 5-6 weeks, they've only been debated once. As WitchKing is very busy with 2 jobs...and, having a life...we understand his being unable to fully participate. In the meantime, Random is helping him...and, us...out by debating his characters. (Especially since he has 4 this week.)

We will also see what JH has to say about it; but, I think he'll agree it's a good solution.
