Finally got around to reading Elektra #1, and thought it was awesome!

Anyway, it got me thinking. If it comes out in the comics when a character became a skrull, is that information we'd allow in debates? So far, nothing was said about Elektra in the first issue; but, the person who has her character won't know what material can be used and what can't, because of Secret Invasion. Do we allow information that sheds light on a character (and, I mean something significant like that) in debates?

Finally got around to reading Elektra #1, and thought it was awesome!

So far, nothing was said about Elektra in the first issue; but, the person who has her character won't know what material can be used and what can't, because of Secret Invasion. I'd say no. Reason being that although it's in the right timeframe chronologically, it could cause issues with debates. Say, in round 1 it hadn't come out, then it comes out after that. Something in it could have caused a major change that would have been beneficial to round 1, so due to that, I'd say keep it consistant all the way through. No new issues able to be used dispite the chronology after the first round starts.


As for Witchking, he is working his second job and will be home around 10:00 Pm.... wait for it.... Central time! (and now I'm doubting if I'm remembering that right. ) An hour and half before I get home from work (currently on lunch). I'll leave a note for him to vote.

Easy way to remember the time zones:

Eastern...is the east.

Central...is in the 'center'

Mountain covers the Rocky Mountains

Pacific...is on the Pacific.

Then there's the Alaskan and Hawaii zones. I'll leave it to you to figure those out.

And each zone is one hour off the others.


As for the Elektra thing, if an arc ended on or before December, it can be used. But, if they weren't revealed to be a Skrull until after December, than any Skrullness they didn't show before hand is not allowed.

I think I am going to step up my game with Gamora for next round because I think the problem with her is that most just don't know how good she is. Which is confirmed by her early departures in the previous two seasons.

Well, I knew I was going to have a difficult time convincing the voters to go with Gorgon. It sure didn't help that I couldn't use his best power, especially with Death Metal being so dang shiny!

And, JH really had me thinking I was going to lose both my matches for a while there. Thank GOD I have so many dang comics. And, thank GOD Claremont is such a crappy writer!!! I'm not sure if those final three issues with T-Bird convinced anyone that his powers weren't as remarkable any longer; but, I felt if not for Claremont, I might have lost that match.

Nope, I have a rematch, not one against myself. All 6 are against other opponants, and I don't think any of them are clear cut wins or loses either way. What was that you said back in week 3 about all those 2 match weeks biting me in the end?

Also, sorry Phaed but I stayed up late last night getting caught up on American Idol and Lost and ended up sleeping the day away. I'm finishing getting ready for work and will be leaving soon so I won't be much help getting the matches up.

And New York 2099, is it populated? I think it'd be fun to have the flying cars and stuff to bounce off of.

We haven't had a populated location; so, yeah, I was going to make it populated. (As to what is around to use, if people can, do some research. Or, as JH is a bit knowledgable about the 2099 Universe, he can give us some info...or if you have any scans to show us.)

I have one more thread to post; and, just realized that I've been using my own name, and not our group one. Sorry. (And, since I've already done the other three, I'm just going to do the last one the same.)
