Harlekin, who do you want to advance in your X-Ray vs. X-Cutioner match? They both will face your other character, Death Metal...so, not sure how much it matters to you. I see Death Metal probably eliminating both those characters.

All my opening debates are up. They aren't that extensive; but, I wanted to get the ball rolling. When I get home, I might add more stuff, if I get more information on my characters. I really don't know a lot two of my characters, Harvest and Mercy...I'm hoping they might appear in one of my handbooks.

Same to you! I thought Ahab vs. Union Jack would be a lot easier; you had me reeling! And, I think if WitchKing got his vote in last week, I would have lost.

I think I am going to step up my game with Gamora for next round because I think the problem with her is that most just don't know how good she is. Which is confirmed by her early departures in the previous two seasons.

I like to think it was because I had a good debate against her but thats just me

The Police of 2099 are no differant than guards and security systems elsewhere. They can be brought into a match but won't react unless prompted.

And as for some description, the place is full of skyscrapers like today and taller, and nearly every apartment has hologram servants, virtual reality 'helmuts' for lack of better words, etc. There are flying cars all over the place as well as hover the ground. The police, known as the Public Eye, fly around on flying motobikes and carrey blaster pistols. There's blimps around to put out fires in the skyscrapers. And everything is far more high tech.

Now besides the sky, there's also Downtown, which is basically on the ground and is similar to a modern day ghetto. There's a zoo that holds only Dinosaurs from the savage land. And if you look around you can find some old garbage dumps with some classic things that you'd fine today (such as how Ravage found an old garbage truck, chains, etc. and Spider-Man found an old motocycle only a little more advanced than what we have today)

Question for anyone who can help.

As of Mimic's death, what power set does he have?

I know he had Wolverine, Colossus, Northstar, Beast and Cyclops, but he also dropped one of them to pick up Deadpool's healing powers. Does anyone know which power he dropped? Can anyone who has the issues check to see what powers he uses after that point so we can figure out who he has so I can do my debate accurately?

Never mind, I just found this at Marvel.com

Mimic was using the powers of Cyclops, Colossus, Northstar, Wolverine, and Deadpool. He also has some residual telepathy from when he mimicked the abilities of Jean Grey.

So he dropped Beast. And I didn't know about the residual telepathy. Cool. Does anyone know exactly how that works?

I didn't know he had any residual telepathy either. I don't remember seeing any, and it kind of defeats the who '5 mutant's powers' thing.

I think I vaguely remember a mention of it during a time when they needed some telepaths to run a machine or something, but I could have just dreamed that.

Thank God there's no Phaed's, Powder's, or W's in there. I tend to go long and fight hard with you three. But I'm expecting a long debate with Franklin. He's not going to let Invisible Woman go down without a heck of a fight!

Wow, its been a long day. Today was "Thunder Over Louisville." Its an all day celebration here in Louisville Kentucky celebrating the Kentucky Derby that is 2 weeks away. It is an air show during the day (with fighter jets, stealth bombers etc) and at night there is a 30 minute firework show. Its the country's largest annual fireworks show. I think the estimate so far is 700,000 people attended today. anyway, I am beat and now have all of my opening debates up. Hope everyone else is having an awesome weekend as well!!

Ok, just as an FYI:

Everyone has gotten in opening arguments in Thread 4.

Thread 3, we need an opening argument from Harlekin in his Professor Power vs. Nostromo match.

Thread 2, Hellstormer needs to tell us who he wants to advance in Doppleganger vs. Man-Wolf. Also, FranklinRichards needs to give an opening statement with his Crystal vs. Brother Voodoo.

Finally, Thread 1, Hellstormer needs to give opening statements in his Guardian vs. Mercy, and his Elixer vs. Wiccan.
