Well, lately we've been ending voting pretty late on Thursday; so, since I get brackets up Friday morning (my time), he'll probably be able to do it then.

Of course, if someone is winning by one vote, I can be "convinced" to end voting early.

My apologies for my absence. I had no intention of missing my matches this week, then something came up and I came back to find I had missed more matches than I was even initially scheduled for.

You have my sympathy, JH. You really gave a hell of debate with Domina, and while it didn't reflect in the votes, you have to be commended for giving it your all. It sucks to get such a draw in the first round, and most every other character in this contest I think Domina could have (easily) beaten.

JH, could you remind WitchKing that he forgot to vote in Thread 1 & 2.

Wieg still needs to vote in Thread 2-4.

So, that leaves votes by Hellstormer, Ahura Mazda, and (still possibly) Franklin.

If you think that 6 votes will equal a win:

Thread 1 is decided in all the matches.

Thread 2 has one close match, Crusader-Skrull vs. Elektra. Also, Super Adaptoid vs. Bloodwraith isn't decided, either.

Thread 3 has one close match, Growing Man vs. Rocket Raccoon. Also, Moonstone vs. Puma isn't quite decided.

Thread 4 has one match that isn't decided, the rematch of Wolverine vs. Wild Thing.

That's ok. With voting being so close in a few matches, I'll keep voting open until I get to work tomorrow morning, that way Ahura has a chance to vote.

BTW, tomorrow is a very, very busy day for me at work. I have to get a bunch of vehicles ready for our June auction. So, if anyone is able to give me a hand with brackets, I might need it tomorrow. That way, if you, Ahura, Hellstormer and WitchKing get in your votes, you can close voting and get things started. (Anyone can do this...I would say Franklin's votes, too; but I'm thinking we probably won't see him return by tomorrow.)

But I gotta ask why my match was switched from Valeria like it says on page 33 to Rachel? I had my mindset on Valeria when I was gathering info very early on. One of the reasons I was unprepared to debate.

Typo is fixed! It is Rachel, as I never changed it on my notepad, where I keep the brackets.

Yep, but as I pointed out last week, that version of Marvel Girl already fought in an earlier fight...so, this version had to be changed to the Rachel version to even things out. So, it is the Rachel version...nothing we could have done about it, as the mistake already happened.
