I hated this type of outfit when the Eradicator wore it back when I was still in the sixth grade. Sales must be really down when they need to revamp every single thing including the costumes in order to shift units. If this is the direction that Snyder is heading with his movie, NO THANKS. Try writing and releasing good books on schedule. That might help, DC.

Another thing I'd like to know is what's with the chubby round faces on everyone, especially Superman.

I like the new costume for the most part, but the collar is too high.

In Superman #1, launching in September, we will see what appears to be a new uniform for Superman. Based on the usual style, but more segmented with scores, seams or raised lines running across and around his arms, legs and torso. Kneepads as part of a segmented bulky boot. And a belt that reflects the Superman shield shape. And involvement in some form by George Perez. I’m also told Rags Morales may be involved with Action Comics #1.

I don't see the point in keeping the trunks and making them blue. It's like the worst of both worlds. You lose that extra color, making the suit appear more bland, BUT the trunks, which some people just can't get past no matter what the color is, stay!

I am not liking it that much, the S is cool but the rest looks like a all blus Star trek TNG outfit

I hate the S. Jim Lee's is the worst. It's angular without looking sleek. It comes off as someone who just doesn't know how to draw anything curvy without screwing it up.

I like that the S part is bold

Can't say I am a fan of GLs arc reactor logo

i like the high collar, no trunks make his costume look plain tho.

I'm sure (hoping) this is the costume we see in the new Superman movie.
Kudos to DC for giving us time to get used to it before seeing Cavill in it.
Bye bye red trunks!

Well folks the underwear debate is over. Been a pleasure debating with you guys. Yeah lets take the new suit and wrap it up.

Hello blue trunks?

i sincerely hope this new costume isn't inspired by the movie suit. why would Superman need kneepads?

No trunks at all i think. There does not appear to be any folds to indicate separation. Also I think the texture is probably blue to the green lantern light. Those kind of speckles probably do leave texture if its not digital. I wonder if this is Dc trying to beat the lawsuit ahead of time(doubt it really). The family can't own this new S symbol and they can't own this new costume.

a better image of Justice League. But looks like it is still just half of a 2-part drawn.

the Lawsuit had nothing to do with this.
It would make no sense to change something you are in court over. To do that would be to admit defeat.

Well some folks they dont give a bleep about pride and would rather use a potential defeat to their advantage.

Boo that new suit, and boo a new Action Comics #1. Way to totally screw with one of the most consistent, important things in comics history, DC.

I was about to say the same thing. What in the hell is Cyborg doing there?

seems pretty defeatist to me...it would be like the Miami Heat planning for their Finals loss...printing second best shirts

Yes, but they are going to do it, and the costume is part of the lawsuit so...
