The Official "Death of Aunt May" Thread.

Aunt May apparently dies in a scene when spiderman and sandman have a fight at a bank. Rubble starts to fall from buildings and because of the symbiote, Peter is more determined to destroy sandman then to help innocents. Peter makes the wrong decision and Aunt May's life is to pay for that.

I don't think think it cheapens the story at all. We just have to wait and see what happens in the finished film. I'm excited about that twist.

Yeah, Flint Marko being Uncle Ben's killer would ruin Peter's origin, IMO.

Mmm i dont think he'd quit being spidey. Reason being that if he does want to remove the symbiote because of Aunt Mays death, then in the teaser trailer you know Brock see's peter removing the suit. So not wanting to fight isnt an option when venom comes after Peter. He still has to be Spiderman to defend himself from venom and co.

or maybe peter finds out flint killed uncle ben and so realizes he became spider-man for no reason...he defeats sandman and then gives up being spider-man because his vengeance is over and then lets eddie go when clearly eddie is nuts

unlike comics where a character can be one age forever

Wow, that is just....wrong... I mean that's like playing with a dead person's corpse and preteneding they're alive I doubt they would ever do something like that. And yes, Aunt May will die she'll be in a hospital bed and then die. And at the end of the movie the symbiote will crawl to her and take her over as she pryes her eyes open. Well at least in my freaky non-dream world.
