My biggest HD drains are Fallout 3, GTAIV, Burnout Paradise, and Halo 3.

I am always juggling around 5GB free. With all this DLC I'm going to have to start deleting Arcade games to make room.

I'm up on 9.8 On my hard drive right now. I'm thinking about deleting all my music, and just playing my ipod through the x-box from now on. It should give me a grip of space to play with.

I'm back up to 7 GB again. In terms of DLC, I know there's another 2 for Fallout 3, and possibly a second one for Mass Effect and another one for GTA IV. I think by then I should 4 GB baring any new games coming out. :o

I'm starting to think the bigger HD is never going to reduce in price.

When is the new content for Fallout coming out? I think that by the time it does, I'd have deleted some stuff. I still need to download the first DLC for Mass Effect, hopefully this weekend unless I find a game of the year edition or something.

Point Lookout will be out in June.
Mothership Zeta will be out in July.

360 and PC only.

In October 2009 for the PS3.

In October 2009 for the PS3.

Where did you hear that? I thought the packs would start coming out in June and would be all out by July or August for PS3? Isn't October when the GOTY edition comes out?

The Anchorage and Pitt DLC for the PS3 will indeed be available in June and July, but I was referring to the last 2.

The PS3 DLC will be available by downloading it through the Playstation Store or as part of the Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition that is to be released sometime during October 2009 for PC, PS3, and 360; this edition will include all five DLC packs, and cost $59.99 US for PS3 and 360, and $49.99 US for PC. Mothership Zeta will not be available in any retail version aside from the Game of the Year edition.

Got this from the Fallout 3, "wiki" page.

Yeah, I know what you were talking about, but where did you hear the last 2 would be out for PS3 to download all the way in October?

Operation: Anchorage will be released for PS3 in June with The Pitt and Broken Steel following with 4-6 weeks between each. Exact release dates will be announced in the future. Both Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta will eventually find their way over to PS3 as well, though they will come after the first three add-ons have made the leap.

PlayStation 3 will not get these disc-based versions of the add-ons. However, those on PS3 without access to the downloads will be able to buy the Fallout 3: Game of the Year edition that is coming out in October. It will include the full game plus all five add-ons and have a price of $59.99 on Xbox 360 and PS3 and $49.99 for PC.

4-6 weeks puts Broken Steel coming out in August-September. Which means Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta won't be released until September-October, which is when the GOTY edition comes out (which is a better deal).

Ah, ok, I didn't know they were being released so far apart.

Anchorage Late June 2009
Pitt (4 - 6 Weeks after Anchorage, looking at possibly Late July - Early August)
Broken Steel (8 - 12 Weeks After Anchorage, Late August - Late September)

I mean it would make sense, especially if Broken Steel can come out in Late September. Which means Point Lookout would be around October and Mothership Zeta would be released after that.

Yeah, it makes sense, I just didn't know there was going to be such a long time in between the DLC on PSN

It's probably not a lot (in terms of $$$) BUT I'm wondering how many 360s were bought because people were under the assumption that the PS3 was never going to get these DLCs. I know someone who bought the 360 specifically for the DLC because they loved Fallout 3.

I'd say there was quite a few instances of that actually. I know when I originally bought it one of the main reasons I bought it on the 360 over the PS3 was because of the potential content. Now granted, I probably would have bought it for the 360 anyway as the last game I bought I had bought on the PS3 and I usually like to balance it out with multiplatform titles, but it did effect my decision in the end.

Well then for me that settles it-- I'm waiting for the GOTY edition.

Will there be any problems if I want to use my current data in the GOTY version? Did anyone have any problems switching from the regular disc for Oblivon to the GOTY version, rather than downloading or buying the Shivering Isles expansion separately?

I'm an incredibly happy bunny now!! GOTY ftw :D I can wait until October, or whenever we get it in th UK. I think i'll trade Fallout 3 when I get inFAMOUS.

Yeah, I agree. Anyone who was willing to take a dive into the 360 for Fallout's DLC has already done so.

Seems more than fair to let those PS3 owners who need they're Fallout fix to get it too.

Actually I'm wondering if they have to push back that GOTY version to coincide with the Mothership Zeta DLC release. If Point Lookout is in October, Mothership Zeta won't be out until possibly November at the earliest?

I'm trading my Fallout 3 copy ASAP.
I'll probably exchange it for Mirror's Edge or Riddick.
I love the game to death, but I haven't advanced THAT much, and I think I'll just wait for the GOTY edition

Or maybe it'll conicide? Or before?

To spur people into buying the GOTY edition. Which would have to be considered cruel and unusual punishment on the part of Bethesda, if they did that.

I just dropped about 2 gigs in demos and videos. I was finally able to download Fallout 3 to my HDD again with the space cleared.

Most of my DLC is from Fallout. Got Lost and Damned there too, and DLC for Oblivion too. I guess I'll be fine for a good while as long as I don't install games to my HDD.

Ho much space in total is all the DLC so far? Another good reason to have it on disc.

Anchorage is 369 MB.
Pitt is 492 MB.
Broken Steel is 620 MB.

And I just completed the Broken Steel DLC. I honestly think the last mission there was better than the last mission on the regular game.

Also, I'm 64 for 64 with 1,350 Achievements for this game. I will enjoy it until Point Lookout comes out next month.
