Picked it up on PS3, and it very well might be my GOTY. It's freaking amazing, it's not even letting me play much of LBP. :p

It's fun, I like it.

I don't think it's as amazing as some of the reviews make it out to be but it's a nice little platformer. The customization is through the roof though....it's seriously a daunting task and I doubt *I* could ever make a level. It will however add a TON of life to the game.

Hmmm. Interesting.

I mean, I own Fable II and it's a fantastic game. Oblivion is too. And so is Fallout 3.

But ProjectPat's right...they're different types of RPG.

I'd actually compare it to arcade-style and simulation-style.

I think Fable II is more of an arcade style RPG, where it's not every little nook and cranny that's dug into but a vast number of things are covered in a nicely done cartoonish manner and incredibly easy and quick to jump into.

Oblivion and Fallout 3 are more simulation style RPG's. With a much darker tone to it. I'm impressed with the amount of dark humor in Fallout 3, actually. Hookers abound. The level of humorus over-the-top violence.

They're just different.

Fallout 3 is better than Oblivion, though. The tone is much more entertaining, and the setting is very unique...whereas Oblivion fits into that 'dungeon crawler' genre that we've played before...the dungeon crawler take mixed in with a postapocalyptic journey.

Dogmeat is awesome too. Love that dog.

Fable II and Fallout 3 have certainly made canine sidekicks a must from now on too.

I wouldnt say its better than Fable, but i wont say its not either. I mean Fable is just a different style RPG. Its a lot more light hearted, Fallout is much more serious. I think overall Fallout looks better, but then again its in a different style compared to Fable. As of this moment id say i had more fun with Fable 2, but i just prefer the setting in Fable slightly more. What i do know is that both games are great.

Well said

thanks i'll pick this up first, then Fable 2 down the road because i just reserved GOW 2 and i fricking broke as hell lol

Got this on the PC and I couldnt stop laughing when
you can tell Butch to make fun of Amata's weight and all the guys keep ripping into her

Bloody mess perk is nice.

I blews a persons head off, then picked it up, & set it on the kitchen table! So yeah this game f-ing rules!!!!! It is like Bioshock, Elderscrolls, & Half-Life had a 3-way in a pool of blood.

Yeah...I save a ton of times.

I'm by like 644 saves, and I'm not through with the game yet.

I love this game. I'm not a huge RPG guy, so it feels a little overwhelming with how much you can do, but still fun none the less. I'm about 12 hours in and have barely touched the main quest. I'm trying to do as many side quests as possible than just going for the main quest. It's also awesome to explore the wasteland and the game has a few creepy moments that had me ready to pop out of my seat.

So far, I give it a 9.5/10

FYI: Trophies are indeed coming to the PS3 version.

Which, is awesome.

peaking during one of Eurogamer's always informative Live Chat sessions, Hines confirmed that trophy support for the title was definitely on the way, although he didn't have an exact ETA. Considering the amount of choice available to Fallout 3 players, I wouldn't worry about having to go back through and play again..I've already completed two more games since my review last week.

I dont get what "the thing" is with trophy's?

Same as achievements, altho at this point the trophies dont work nearly as well as achievements due to the fact that not all dev's are including them.

I have played to the Overseers office and can't continue. I think I'm going to trade this in for Chrono Trigger DS. Why, you ask? Because I am terrified of the notion of giant insects and there was a report of giant ants outside the bunker on the Overseers computer. So...its time for me to trade in. What I played was fun though. :csad:

The giant ants thing is a side quest called "Those!" that you can easily skip. Most of the game's enemies are humans, ghouls, and super mutants.

Wait! So I wouldn't even have to see the giant ants? Color me intrigued...elaborate, please.

Now with that said there is some big scorpions and some type of fly/bee thing in the fields and those "Ratroaches" are in some warehouses and pplaces like that which you should have already encountered by now since you made it to the Overseer's office.

Well theres some pretty crazy creatures out in the Wasteland, iv come across a few ants, the mole rats, giant botfly and those damn giant rad-scorpions which are a *****.

ugh...trading in for Chrono Trigger DS, it is. Too bad, it seems like an amazing game.
