I was feeling depressed about how Bethesda decided to cut me out from buying the downloadable expansions for this game, so I went looking online for some kind of closure... And apparently, when Bethesda's head of marketing got kind of *****ey when he was asked about
why it won't be on PS3.
"...We aren’t going to get into the details of the hows and whys. [DLC] will be exclusive for PC and 360. [We're] not going to give any other qualifiers or clarifications as it relates to other platforms."

So basically, they're saying "We don't even owe you an excuse for why we're effing over PS3 users. We're doing it because we can, so don't ask any questions about it." The common speculation is that MS paid them off to specifically give PS3 the shaft, but whatever the case I think it's total BS that out of all three versions, the PS3 one seems to be the only one that Bethesda is taking a dump on. I love this game just as much as an Xbox 360 owner does, so why is my version the only one that won't get any downloadable content? It's bad enough that the PS3 version of this game is so friggin' buggy (I mean come on, I can't even give my character an in-game haircut without blindly guessing!), but did they really have to cut us out from the DLC too? Shame on you Bethesda, for selling out to Microsoft so blatantly and not even admitting to it.
I know online petitions don't really work, but signing the "bring Fallout 3 DLC to PS3" petition kind of helped settle my nerves. It's probably not going to do much, but the way I see it, at least signing it helps invalidate any "lack of customer interest" excuse that Bethesda's PR staff might try to spin out.

If the court of public opinion finds Bethesda guilty of foul play, then hopefully being publicly shamed for taking MS's money will discourage developers from trying to pull stunts like this in the future. I guess there's only so far that it can go since I already gave Bethesda my money when I bought the game, but that does not mean I deserve to be treated as anything less than a first-class customer.
