If anything cool memorabilia came with it, I'd buy it. If a shirt, poster, and some other things like that was offered with it. I wanted to get the lunch box, but it was too late.

Just finished finding all of the steel in The Pitt. Wasn't too bad, and you get a lot of swag.

I noticed that Operation Anchorage, and The Pitt is going to be coming out in a pack for about $20 pretty soon according to Gamestop. So if you're debating on spending 800, 1600 points on it, hold off. Save 800 for Broken Steel...which will probably get released through stores some where down the line too.

Has anyone started a new character to run through the game and all the DLC? I'm a start a new one, and take him through The main quest, level 15 - 17, take him through Anchorage. Then finish the game and Broken Steel - then go back for all the side quests and The Pitt. I think leveling up to 30 will be easier if I leave a lot of quests open - at least so it seems like I'm leveling up faster lol.

Just so everyone knows that when you get near level 30 save your game and then pick the perk that takes your karma to a certain point and you'll get that achievement. Then reload and pick the other karma perk and you'll get that achievement then just level up your character accordingly to how you actually want him to be.

Not sure if any of you knew about that. Most people are saying to choose the perk at level 29 which is pointless since you can do it at 30 and get the achievement.

That was maddening! Rawr!:cmad: All I wanted was that tribal power armor. I had like like 90+ but I just couldn't find the last few. I ended up just killing Ashur and taking his armor.

Eh, I really can't just wander and find things like this, so I used IGN's guide for where they were.

Now I can enjoy the Pitt without the possibility of missing steel ingots nagging in the back of my head.

I just need to get one more bobblehead at the Deathclaw Sanctuary and have to do the last mission and I'm done with the regular game.

Of course I do have a question. I downloaded all 3 DLC but after listening to a review on XPlay, they say that if you played through earlier DLC (Anchorage and the Pitt) the experience doesn't carry over. Now does this mean you have to play it after Broken Steel? Or that because of the raised cap it messes with it?

After beating the last level of the regular game, I was going to jump on Anchorage, the Pitt and then Broken Steel. I'm halfway to Level 25 now. Anyone know anything?

I beat the final mission (After d/ling Steel), then did Anchorage, then Pitt, and am now 2 missions into Steel. I have not experienced any experience problems. I don't think I understand what xplay meant.

After 60 hours I beat the game. Level 25. 50 for 50 Achievements. Whew....

Time for a little bit of a break before I tackle the DLC.

The Tesla Cannon is awesome. :woot:

I just made it to level 28 and have no more missions to do... It's going to take a lot of exploring and killing random things to get to 30.

What level were you at when you finished the regular game?

DLC hits PS3 in June.

Operation Anchorage, The Pitt and Broken Steel all coming to PS3 starting in June; two more DLC packs coming to all formats in the form of Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta.

Just over a year ago at E3 2008, Microsoft announced it had secured Xbox 360/PC exclusivity for Fallout 3 downloadable content. Now, three releases down the line, that agreement has come to an end, as Bethesda has announced that all existing and forthcoming Fallout 3 DLC will be making its way to Sony's PlayStation 3.

Operation: Anchorage will be the first content pack released on PS3 in June, while The Pitt and Broken Steel will follow at 4-6 week intervals. The game itself will also receive a new update on PS3, allowing owners to download and play the new content on the console.

Bethesda has also confirmed two more downloadable content packs set for release on all formats. 'Point Lookout' will release in late-June on Xbox 360 and PC and will focus on a new swampland area, while Mothership Zeta promises a 'first hand alien abduction' come late July on both platforms. Both packs will be released at 800 Microsoft Points, and will make their way to the PlayStation 3 once the first three packs have been released.

In addition to the gamut of DLC, Bethesda also has more retail releases for Fallout 3 in the works. 'Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1' is an add-on disc containing both The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage, and will be released in Europe on Xbox 360 and PC on June 12. The second add-on disc, 'Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2' will include Broken Steel and Point Lookout and will be released in August. Finally, 'Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition' will be available in October, including the original game plus all five add-ons for £39.99 on Xbox 360 and PS3, and £29.99 on PC.

20. I beat everything up until the final mission well before the DLC came out. So I've kind of run out of things to do now.

That's good for me cause if you started at 20 and ended at Level 28, then I should have no problems starting at 25 and hitting 30.

Interview about the new DLC!

IGN: Without spoiling too much for us, what is the general plotline of Point Lookout's new quests?

Todd Howard: Yeah, I really don't want to spoil it yet. It has a swampy-horror vibe. It's the brainchild of Joel Burgess and Nate Purkeypile, two of our best people here. Their pitch was, "picture backwoods Maryland, where the bombs didn't actually fall, but the world has left it behind." It's also big. Really big. It's a mini wasteland swamp to explore. It has a main quest, side quests, etc.

IGN: What about for Mothership Zeta?

Todd Howard: If you poke around Fallout 3, you can find a crashed UFO with an alien inside that is broadcasting a signal your Pip-Boy picks up. This is where you can get the alien blaster. Well, Mothership Zeta is answering the distress call. You get abducted and the whole thing takes place on a giant alien spacecraft. It's one of those classic 50's B movie type things, but with a harder edge.
---------------------------------------------

IGN: Why is it that the first three pieces of DLC are finally hitting the PS3? Was it a timed exclusivity deal, or was something else worked out?

Todd Howard: It's mostly the workload on us. Based on our Oblivion experience, it was clear that Xbox users were much more comfortable buying content, by a wide margin. It's a lot of work to get them ready for a particular platform and now that they've been so popular, we want to get them on the PS3. And there's obviously been a lot of frustration on the part of PS3 owners, who don't feel they are getting the total Fallout 3 experience, and we don't want that to happen. We want everyone to have everything, but we still need to set priorities so we can use our development time wisely.

IGN: Was the eventual PlayStation 3 release for the existing DLC always in the works, or was it something that came up after the fact?

Todd Howard: We always wanted to do it, but until it actually looks like it will happen, we don't want to make promises. We've been working on it and they aren't done yet so it's going to take time for each DLC to be moved over to the PS3 and work well. As a result there will still be a month or so gap between each one once they start hitting on the PS3.

I know, that's crazy. I'm just going to wait until they release that version.

I already bought the PC version on Steam for full price, unfortunately. Maybe they'll release some kind of discounted bundle for all the DLC, but I doubt it. :csad:

Hmmm.... I knew that these versions were going to be coming out. One is coming out in the next month or so with Operation Anchorage, and The Pitt included, now one further down the pipe-line with all three. I'm better with downloading them from Marketplace when they come.

Point Lookout, and the Alien Spacecraft DLC, :wow: yowza

I love the Alien Blaster. Especially after getting my ass handed to me trying to take down a Deathclaw just with a hunter rifle.

Do you use the dart gun as well? It is essential to Deathclaw killing.
