1-on-1 Deathclaw battles aren't too hard if you boost your VATS-related stuff. I just sniped Deathclaws off from afar with Lincoln's Repeater.

Sometimes I just use paralyzing touch and then gleefully shoot or melee the paralyzed body.

Also when I went into the Deathclaw sanctuary, I had Fawkes with me with his gatling laser.

I'm starting up a new game to get my missing achievements. 50 Hacked Terminals, Level 8 with Neutral Karma, Level 20 with Evil Karma. I'm also playing as a girl this time around.

Yeah I kinda pussed out by saving before Levels 8, 14 and 20 and then destroying Megaton or killing people to get those achievements.

Also it seems there were instances to hack then it was to use speech challenges.

Hacking and Lock picking are kind of the equivalents. I don't like hacking though.

I dropped like a few extra bucks for the Collector's Edition when it came out. Plus paid for the DLC...but I fully expected the GOTY version to hit eventually too. I just couldn't wait.

Great news about the new DLC and everything. Point Lookout sounds awesome and I'm ambivalent about Mothership Zeta at the moment. It could be great or it could be Fallout 3's own shark jump/fridge nuke. If I may offer some advice to my fellow Playstation 3 owners, skip Operation Anchorage. Unless you decide to get the GOTY edition.

Computer hacking is pretty easy, in my opinion. Especially if you remove any duds or get your allowance replenished. I seem to have trouble with lockpicking anything over average, though. I don't save beforehand or back out, though. Feels too much like cheating for my tastes.

So I have a question. Something I've been very confused about is Little Lamplight. Minor spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn't been very far in Fallout 3 yet. If the kids at Little Lamplight send their people to Big Town when they get too old, where do they get new kids to populate Little Lamplight? I haven't found an explanation anywhere. I feel like I've missed something.

There is no in-game explanation of how the child population has continued to re-populate after its inception in 2077, except insofar as the Bryan Wilks situation may constitute an explanation -- that their population comes from taking in orphans. Another explanation offered is that the adults of Big Town send their children there, as they know it is much safer.

Yep, im with you, Iv been saying this since the DLC came out. Im also sure that the Lost and Damned DLC for GTA IV will come out for the PS3.

I havent bought any of the DLC yet. I havent finished the main game. I need to jump back in to it.

MS buys timed exclusivity and part of the deal is that the companies cant talk about it, hence people assume the PS3 wont get it and that is supposed to increasel teh software sales for the 360. It happened with Bioshock, here with Fallout 3 and heavily rumored to be the same case for GTA IV. Im really not surpried that Fallout's DLC is coming.

Mothership Zeta could end up being pretty hard if all the Aliens have Alien blasters. Something that I'll be interested to see how they work it out. I don't want to be repairing my armor every few minutes.

Ok, so that´s settled, Microsoft didn´t funded the DLC, which, by other words, they are dumb fu**s.
Not because the DLC is going to the PS3, but because when all a company has to show for is DLC, which alone is pathetic, and that DLC is not even exclusive, it just shows that Microsoft doesn´t have s**t.
And if the GTA 4 DLC is not exclusive and they actually pay all the money the rumors state, Microsoft is the follow up to the seat left by Duke Nukem Forever, has the biggest joke in gaming.
What are they thinking, that people are going to buy the 360 out of pity?

People say that exclusives should end, but exclusives are the reason why anyone buys a console over the other, so, the moment MS start to have none, people will jump to the PS3 in a heartbeat.

Indeed, there were a few users who insisted it wouldn't because it was believed that MS had funded and bought the content exclusively, but I was always doubtful of that. The GTA DLC may end up a different story, but I never thought for a second these would stay exclusive to 360/PC. If nothing else I assumed it would see a release in the GOTY edition like Elder's Scroll IV did, though I figured we'd see the content on PSN at some point.

I wouldnt go far as to say taking the throne of "Duke Nukem" in that category. I mean, to me Duke's seat is waaay up there lol. But I do agree with what you said - should exclusives end, I think PS3 would eat up the competition. Especially with the free on-line play? No brainer.

I barely play my PS3, honestly its my DVD player now. I have about 4 Blu Ray's. There too expensive.
