I'm sure it will work exactly like it does now, if you start a new game with all the DLC downloaded. All but Steel would start immediately via a radio signal or what have you.

OK, so I finally reached level 30 -- after killing a couple swamp ghouls :D

Now all I have to do is wait for the last DLC

I'd be good with another DLC. But, yeah, Zeta I would imagine is it.

Vegas is probably not too far off either.

Who is making Vegas? I heard Bethesda wasn't making it but Obsidian. Then I heard it was Bethesda. I'm so confused.

I was just reminiscing about the times before Levels 8, 14 and 20 that I went on rampages in Megaton just so I can get those evil achievements. Shooting that mercenary at Moria's who would constantly say, "I've got my eye on you." or the Doctor with the attitude or that old guy who wouldn't shut the eff up about the Enclave, all got a facefull of shotgun goodness. :o

Then I would reload my "good" save again and listen to their constant taunts with quite rage. :csad:

Any mods recommendation..? Custom levels, anything.

Depending on where your intelligence level is, after you leave the vault, take a swim after taking some Rad-X all the way to Rivet City and get the Intelligence Bobblehead there. Do not read any of the skills books until you do. After you get the Intelligence Bobblehead, and after you choose the Comprehension perk at Level 4, then you can start reading skill books. It doubles the skill points per book.

These should be the perks you should really choose.
Intense Training -> STR +1
Intense Training -> END +1
Comprehension (You can now read any Skill Book safely; +2 Points)
Intense Training -> AGL +1
Toughness
Bloody Mess
Strong Back
Commando
Finesse

The last downloadable expansion for Fallout 3, dubbed Mothership Zeta, has been given a release date for the Xbox 360 and Windows PC versions. Those on a Microsoft system can expect to find it available for purchase on August 3 for 800 Microsoft points (US $10). No release info was given for the PS3 version.

Mothership Zeta takes players to outer space on an alien abduction. The distress call from the fallen UFO that players could track down in the main Fallout 3 game turns out to be much more in this download as players get beamed aboard an alien spaceship. There, they'll meet new characters, both from the Wasteland and Earth's past, also been held by the aliens. These folks can be teamed up with to scheme up an escape plan, hopefully before the ship aims its weapons at Earth.

New weapons and armor are promised including the Alien Atomizer, Alien Disintegrator, Drone Cannon, Gemini-Era Spacesuit and Samurai Armor.

I'm looking forward to the Alien Blaster Rifle. Not sure what the actual name is from that list but still. Samurai Armor?

August 3rd shall be the start of my final fallout 3 week.

Broken Steel will be the first DLC available for the PS3, it will come out in September.

PlayStation 3 owners eager to dive into the downloadable content for post-apocalyptic adventure Fallout 3 will have to wait an extra couple of months.A Bethesda Game Studios producer tells the official PlayStation blog developers hope to have the first episode ready by the end of September.
Operation Anchorage, the first piece of DLC released on Xbox 360, was originally scheduled to appear on the PlayStation Network at the end of June.

Producer Ashley Cheng writes in the PlayStation blog that Bethesda will also change the order in which the content is released. PS3 owners can expect Broken Steel, the campaign that rewrites Fallout 3's ending and raises the level cap, to arrive first. The other four episodes would appear soon after, although Bethesda has not provided specific dates.
Bethesda is also releasing a Game of the Year Edition of Fallout 3, which will include the original game and all five pieces of DLC, in October.

I'm wondering what the sense of releasing the GOTY edition in the middle of the DLC releases?

At least the GOTY edition isn't being pushed back too. I'm counting down the days for this.

can you get any of the DLC's via a hard copy like from a gamestop or like retailer? I just started playing this game again and im thinking of getting some of the DLC but dont wanna put anymore stuff on my credit card.

I think im just gonna buy both of those packs when im ready to play some new content. Which DLC allows you to continue roaming the wasteland after you have finished the main story? Or is there such a thing?

Anchorage is "in" the Wasteland but you go into a virtual world.

Pitt for the most part you are not in the Wasteland.

Point Lookout is the same thing.

Broken Steel is the only one where most of the missions and side quests are in the Wasteland. The last mission takes you out of it.

So what happens when i finish the final quest in Fallout 3? Like the game starts over right? Would i be able to go into these DLC's with all of my weapons and stats. Id like to finish the main story before i did any DLC's, thats why i ask.

Buy Broken Steel first. That way when you finish the main story, the game won't end it will go directly into Broken Steel. (Finishing the game without BS ends the game, you can not roam around after) Broken steel raises the level cap and never puts an end to the game so you can wander forever.

The Pitt you take a tunnel out of the wasteland and a tunnel back, Anchorage is a VR mission in the wasteland, Lookout you take a ferry to and from. All of the DLC can be done anytime during the main quest or Broken Steel.

Awesome, thats just what i wanted to know. Im on the final quest now, i saved before i had to activate Project Purity.

I think ima go ahead and buy Broken Steel as i have a few MS points left over and then ill go and buy that Anchorage/Pitt combo pack then if i want ill get PL at a later date.
