Meh, I want this game so much, and it's so far away for me.

My PS2 isn't chipped, and I don't have a replay cartridge or equivalent. I'm not entirely sure how imported games work either to be honest, with UK being PAL. If additional leads etc are needed.

I can wait. I've waited long enough already. On the plus side, the UK release will fall just after my first set of third year exams when I can actually spend time playing it, rather than before, when I would have had to ban myself.

yep, and all the summons will be named after the villians from final fantasy tactics.

Lol. This is why the extra wait for the UK won't kill me. In comparison to how long I've already been waiting, it's nothing.

tht is so whack, square-enix need to fix up and go back to turn based fighting and bring back the original summons, they dnt need to make these wierd battle systems, im all for the different lvling up liek trhe sphere grid cos it just makes it more interesting but they need to keep the battle system and not invent these none turn based things, i mean to me its not gonna tht much of a ff with out the random battle tht i do belive they dropped as well.....

Basically. Kinda like we've had to deal with constant push backs of thew new Zelda-we should have been playing these things by 2005, not practically 2007.

But hey....maybe it means they'll be ze greatest....

FF hasn't had an AMAZING game since VII imo. 8 was good, 9 was uninspired, 10 was atrocious, the basic premise of 10-2 made me want to self-harm etc.....but this has been a long time coming, if it's 3/4 as good as VII i might just wet my panties.

The gameplay looks nice, graphics succulent. Not sure about the story yet. My only quip is the main character design looks a bit flat. VII's characters, for example, were as diverse as you can get.

In FF12 everyone looks like a lesbian
