i didn't like the way this game started off, but after like, 5 or 6 hours, i'm really starting to love the battle system, and the story is taking off quite nicely!

this might end up being my favorite final fantasy after 7 and 8 (i'd never played the 'old' ones)

they've all had mid-east influences in some way...

i'd get something that you won't have to devote much time too, since if you play ff12 you're gonna be spending all your time with that

lol, i was thinking about getting that or jak 2 when i bought ff12, but i ended up buying the CE and the CE strategy guide and altogether it was almost 100 dollars so I probably won't be buying much of anything for a while... oh well, whenever i get a new ff, i don't need much substenance. i eat about one meal a day, and sleep 4 hours a night, the rest of my time is spent playing ff.

This game is amazing. I bought it yesterday, and the characters are great as are the cinematics. Vaan reminds me of Tidus though, I don't know why. The story is great so far.

vaan's voice is so much better than tidus's. i'm glad they went with a real teenager this time, and not some 30 yr old pretending to be one.

yeah, the cinematics are sharp. fast paced and well directed. the world is so huge too. it feels real and alive.

the villians are badass. there's even a boba fett type character. he has a buzzsaw staff, it's awesome.

Okay, lol. Wasn't sure, 'cause the guy did do voicework on Futurama... Bender played Wakka though and he did a great job.

Yeah, Tidus sounded exactly like Fry, so it never sounded right to me. But anyway, who else doesn't have a life because of this game? It's really damn good.

The game got leaked about a week or two ago, so if someone wants it, they have it.

It's gonna be 49.99 though USD.

Really need to pick this up on Friday. I think the main character looks like a total dweeb though, hate his look. I think they should start making main characters look like FFIV's Cecil.

Isn't sort of like FFVI where it's not truely one characters story? THey're all a part of the bigger story, sort of thing.

Well, you can switch Vaan out of the party altogether and just pretend he doesn't exist. But Vaan is pretty cool, IMO. I use Basch, Ashe and Fran though. I think this is the only Final Fantasy that actually encourages you to stick with the same three party members throughout the entire game...
