Not to be a party pooper but that poster has a typo. :oldrazz:

I just had to make a thrid movie poster!
But this time I have a picture of Bradley Cooper himself!

Bradley Cooper is a great/awesome actor! He would pull off Bary Allen so well!
I just saw the movie "Limitless" with Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro! And this guy blew me away with his acting!
He was great in "A-Team" and "Hangover" part 1 and 2 as well!

I know some Flash fans get angry because his unshaved, but all the pictures he has on Google is with a beard lol.

Anyways enjoy and please comment!

(I used a picture from the A-Team movie poster)

LOL his unshaved in every picture on Google lol. Its his thang... I'm going to make a fan made trailer soon btw!

Seriously, what is it with Bradley Cooper and all this stuff? People want him for Flash and people want him for Green Arrow, and they even wanted him for Green Lantern.
For all three heroes, people say he is perfect. That is something I doubt, since these characters are different from each other (and he doesn't even look like GA).

Is it mass hypnosis or what? Cooper just rose to be the most wanted actor for superhero roles. Soon there will be a big campaign for him as Aquaman, I think (and fear).

^ Green Lantern and Green Arrow are not that different. And Cooper can play both types, theirs and the Flash. Plus, he's a good actor.

How about Cooper as Hawkman? Anyone else see that? That said, I really hope we get some Flash announcements soon. Glad they are referencing Barry's city in GL, hopefully WB will "fast track" The Flash once GL is a big success opening weekend. :D

Bradley Cooper for Superman, Lex Luthor and/or Captain Marvel! :cwink:

Yeah, I dont get it either. Why would so many people want a talented, handsome, popular actor [who also has a better than average physique] to play a hero in a comicbook movie?

Has me stymied, I haveta admit.

They only want him because he's popular. "The flavour of the day" I guess. Soon everything will calm down and go back to normal.
Last year, Sam Worthington was on everybody's lips (Avatar, Terminator 4 and Clash of the titans).
I never stop thinking Devon Sawa will be a better pick for The Flash. But if you wanna go younger, much younger than Ryan Reynolds' Green Lantern, I say Joseph Mazzello.

Yeah, and before Worthington it was Butler, before Butler it was Bale. Flavour of the month' fan casting is always going to happen but the thing is, not everyone on here gets caught up in the whole 'FotM' thing; some recognise actors as viable candidates for a particular lead based on what they percieve as traits that the actor has that lend them to being a good fit for a character. As I said, Cooper has talent, has looks, has a better than average physique, has charisma; so much like Reynolds, it's only natural that some folk see him as worthy of playing certain comicbook heroes.

There's no denying that Cooper is experiencing a surge in popularity as he's just breaking through to the big-time, but that's a good thing - it means that we'd get a marquee name who actually fits the role.

Well, I guess a well-known Bradley Cooper is better than going with that old "it has to be an unkown". A big name is always more interesting than a completely anonymous new-comer.
Unknown actors should get their breakthroughs in comedies, dramas, thriller, regurlar action, horror and whatever. Not by playing a beloved fictional character from books or comic books. Only Christopher Reeve, Hugh Jackman and Sean Connery can prove me wrong.

Chris Hemsworth.

Agreed on that ^^ but they only ever tend to go with an 'unknown' because there are no 'name' actors out there that fit the role and even then, unless they're then going to surround the chosen unknown lead with big names, you need a marquee name to sell the movie.

So it's pretty much either/or.

All I'm saying is that I feel there's a marquee name out there that's perfect for it so its the best of both worlds. Cooper's not exactly a 'megastar' as much theat his casting would overshadow the movie, but he is known enough to garner interest. Actually, he kind of parallells RR in that respect too.

I remember people casting Chris Hemsworth as Aquaman before he became Thor.

I wonder how many of them said that simply because they'd seen him as a surfer dude in Home and Away?

:D

It is mass hypnosis, didn't you get the memo ?:oldrazz:

I hope WB's gets Duncan Jones to direct this Flash film. I think WB's is hot on his heels also.

He was this close to directing the Superman Man Of Steel reboot and he is not on the short long list of directors being considered for The Wolverine, now that Aronofsky dropped out.

Eh I like him but I think someone else would be better for Flash
Shane Black was my top choice, but now he's doing IM3. Gore Verbinski could be good.

Those are my other choices besides Jones. You need someone who understands and respects comics in general and who has a quirky visual style. All three men have these traits.

Blackman: yes, someone else than Duncan Jones. Moon was a good film, but The Flash needs more than that.
Gore Verbinski, yes. But he would perhaps make it too light. Warner bros are heading towards a more serious tone with the adaption. Alex Proyas maybe?
Or Paul Verhoeven? He's done a lot of sci fi's, and has kind of a violent style.

Here's a list of directors that I think should try to direct The Flash;
- The Wachowskis brothers (Matrix-series & Ninja Assassin)
- Paul Greengrass (Bourne-series)
- James Cameron (Avatar, Alien & T2)
- David Yates (Harry Potter-series, his going to need a new movie after HP)

All of these directors are from WB. So it's more likely that these kinda directors will get The Flash.

My choice is Alex Proyas - I've enjoyed the films that he's made.
