I'd use Mirror Master. I just think his powers are cool and would make for some great visuals.

Oh yeah that's another one I know he'd actually be perfect for the first movie. Grodd's a Flash villain too but he'd be difficult to do.

I think Grodd would work better as a JL villain. Save Zoom for the third movie.

I don't think the GA would buy a bunch of Gorillas standing up to the Justice League.

Say that again, mother****er.

JL facing a threat like in the last "Apes" film, will just be ridiculous. People will mock the film for decades.

It doesn't have to be an army of gorillas. Just play up Grodd as a mastermind of the Secret Society alongside Vandal Savage and Luthor.

The big bad for a JL film, which, if we are to guess based on WB's direction the last years, is taking a darker and more serious tone, being a gorilla?

I don't think so.

My idea for the poster would be Flash crashing through a mirror with the supporting cast reflected in the floating shards.

That would be an awesome poster. Now I want to see Mirror Master based on that poster description alone

Here he is:

This was mostly done as a test to see if I could get close to the look I had pictured for a movie flash. I may do a full body manip with improved costume down the line. Patrick Wilson as Berry, think I might use another actor as Wally for the full body one (willing I get around to it). Helmet needs some more work, and couldn't decide if I wanted to go with the mirrored lenses or more traditional cowl.

i say make the "wings" bigger and lose the yellow buttons. But overall it's good

Move the chest emblem a little lower, shrink the circle a little, and make the lightning bolt bigger.

Next question, would they use the costume ring in the movie.

Great question I think it depends on the style of the movie if it takes a realistic approach then no but if it goes say the Marvel route I could see it. I'd like to see it personally.

Lol, that ring makes no sense.

About his costume, I think they'll have to do some re-designing with his cowl.. It just looks stupid in live action!

Personally, I'd drop the white circle on the emblem, and just leave yellow lightning. The white kind of makes it look like a fried egg, and breaks up the red/yellow scheme in a bad way, imo.

I am wondering if maybe they should a small group of Rogues as the villains, mainly because the rogues seem play off each other and seem more effective as a team then their own. The only problem is super villain groups in movies often leave some members getting the short end of the stick, in X-Men 1, Magneto was the only Brotherhood member who got any characterization and in X-Men First Class, Riptide didn't even get any lines. Also if they go with the Rogues, who should be in the group and how many members should they have?

I think they should save Professor Zoom for a sequel, he is Flash's most powerful foe, so it be hard to raise the stakes in a sequel if he is the first villain.

I'd quite like to see some goggles on Flash. I'm a fan of goggles.

For the first movie, my inclination would be to use the Trickster as the main villain, with a selection of Rogues as the B-act/patsies. Basically, gadget using science villains are a problem for the city; Barry gains superspeed in accident, beats a bunch of the Rogues; mysterious 'Trickster' shows up, convinces them to work as a team; Flash beats them again, in a much harder fight showing his improving skill, and they are all arrested.

Then the Trickster shows his true plan: he'd infiltrated the police department well before, and getting all the Rogues arrested led to all their technology being delivered to the evidence vault. . . and his hands. Flash now has to fight an opponent who has the combined technology of the Rogues, and a far better plan for using it in a way that would make Barry's day hell, forcing him to use every ounce of cleverness and speed to win.

I could watch that.

For me, I'd use Dr. Alchemy, build a friendship between him and Barry until the accident which creates the Philosopher's stone and gives Barry his powers. I'd use Captain Boomerang as a Scarecrow like constant villain (and a CSI case) until Dr. Alchemy gets really power hungry/controlling.

I'd also have Wally get comatose-ized in the same accident to avoid having to duplicate the accident narratively. Boomerang leads to the intro of the rest of the rogues for the sequel. Cap Cold, Heat Wave, Glider, Weather Wizard and Boomerang with Trickster/Piper/Mirror Master as sort of wannabes that Cold uses as expendables. Wally'd be up and running. Then, wrap it up with Zoom, Barry running himself into nonexistence to save the multiverse. Wally then takes up the mantle. Wally would end up dealing with Grodd, New Rogues and Zoom (again). But now I'm just rambling...
