should we count reviews that use JMC's manip to represent the movie?
Yeah, WTF is with that? I've seen my manip used in countless articles over the last few months.

Really? She seemed mediocre to me.I See Spidey, have you seen the movie clips? I love them all. Reynolds is pretty funny in those and Lively does a good performance. So, i guess we have nothing to worry about.
Whatever. She seemed adorable and like Carol Ferris.Really? She seemed mediocre to me.
Like I said, critics are going to maybe like it or hate it and we are going to love it because it is very faithful to the comics. Isnt what we all want? I mean people are complaining about Tomar-Re and Kilowog as characters. They are perfect portrayed to me so theres nothing for me to be worried about. That review is not negative but it's not exactly positive either.

There could be a middle ground, like Iron Man.Screw faithfulness, give me a quality film.
I didn't watch them all but Lively looked fine to me. I'm on the fence about about Reynolds though, he is a good actor but he is looking a little too over the top for my taste. Kinda like how RDJ was in Iron Man 2. Good actors can make bad acting choices when they are allowed to.I See Spidey, have you seen the movie clips? I love them all. It's fairly postive but it sounds more negative than it's score. That review is not negative but it's not exactly positive either.
That makes no sense. Those two dont have to be mutually exclusive.Screw faithfulness, give me a quality film.

Isnt capturing the spirit of Green Lantern being faithful?
I seem to recall Avatar and Transformers getting ****e reviews on their stories as well.
You said having a faithful adaptation is all we want, I'm telling you that's not what I care about. I really don't give a rats are how faithful or unfaithful or how accurate a comic film is, the only thing I ask is that they capture the spirit of it, everything else is up for grabs as far as I'm concerned.
"it ain't Citizen Kane!" is another one.I'm tired of the "not supposed to be award winning" comment.
My expectations for a film are never "greatest movie ever." I simply want films to succeed at what they are heading for. I want GL to be a good, entertaining epic space adventure, nothing more and nothing less. Hopefully GL is that.

Your right, you don't need to put IMO in every sentence. You do have to say for example "to me reynolds is not a very likeable actor". The way you wrote it came out as if you were speaking for everyone.
