Ben Mendelsohn would make a good Sinestro (he even looks like he could be Oldman's brother). Though I doubt he'd do it since he's already playing the villain in Rogue One.

Yeah, either of them would work. Damn it, Damian Lewis should have been Lex Luthor though. Hell, he even looks good bald (see: Homeland, season 3). F*** Snyder and Terrio for going with Eisenberg. What a couple of asshats. I didn't even hate his performance as much as everyone else did but someone like Lewis would have been SO much better. Then again, if they had him play Luthor like Eisenberg did (as a human cartoon) then maybe Lewis would have sucked too. Ugh.

Damian Lewis I don't see as Sinestro, he'd make a great Niles Caulder though if they ever did The Doom Patrol.

I think there's better ways to vent than to spread negativity and make a problem seem worse than it is.

And really, moving the release date shows the opposite of what you're saying. It shows they're actually thinking about this movie, trying to position it as best as they can, and that the initial 2020 announcement wasn't just talk.

I doubt this. I think he's still too big of a name at this point to want to be Hal.

I've only seen him in a few small roles but he has a film coming out called The Birth of a Nation (which he also wrote and directed) that was a smash hit at Sundance and has Oscar buzz. Sounds like his career is about to blow up, so if WB snagged him for this, it would be huge.

All a big name needs is a good pitch and nice payday. I do believe they would go with a lesser known actor given the only "name" in the Justice League is Affleck, but I expect them to keep their options open, if they even get to GLC.

I'd welcome him back to CBMs in just about any capacity. He shined as Harry and I'd love to see those talents applied to one of DC's quintessential heroes.
