The Official Green Lantern Set Pic Thread

The final fight in IM2 was actually longer then I thought. It was still pretty short, but it was just long enough.

The Mark V vs Whiplash fight was shorter, now that I think about it.

The way they took down Whiplash was genius. The effect looked fantastic, too.

Loved that 'one time only' lazer thing Tony used to take down all the drones.

Ooops, sorry to continue off-topic - forgot this was a GL thread for a minute.

well I definitley felt the shortness of the Vanko/IM/War Machine fight at the end. In retrospect though it doesn't bother me as the battle with the drones is included as part of the final climax, so I'll take it.

I thought it was a little short, but it was awesome. I'd take that over some boring, drawn out battle anyday.

There were reports of a 'rooftop' party starting tonight. I think it's the rooftop at Ferris Air aka Lakefront Airport.

nice photo. also interesting if the party is going to be on the airport, i would have figured it be downtown on some high raise rooftop bar/club type of thing.

Man, WB's are sure keeping everything locked up and security must be tight now when it comes to making sure certain set photos do not get leaked.

I actually agree with Syncos here. I'm kind of surprised that the climactic action scenes in IM2 lasted as little as that as it seemed that they lasted a lot longer in the cinema. All I know is that I didnt come away with the feeling that I'd been short-changed in any way as the scenes where sheer quality.

I've seen longer action sequences in other films and been left totally wanting, so I guess it's a matter of quality over quantity?

Personally I thought the end fight in IM2 was both short and lacklustre, the whole movie built up to it and it just didnt deliver for me, 1st time I noticed it but didnt mind, on 2nd viewing it really brought down the 2nd half of the movie for me.

I dont expect to be left wanting from a $200 million dollar movie, I was very dissapointed.

i just finally got to see im2, and i thought the fights were just fine. sure a few were short but they were still decent in my book.

Man, if Comic-Con gives us as much as I got out of E3, I could not be happier.

yea i cant wait to see what we will get out of gl at the con.

I just hope we get a teaser trailer that actually shows something, like SR's did. TDK's teaser is cool now, but it showed absolutely nothing. That, and a poster at least.

^ I wouldn't mind a superhero version of the "Buried" trailer where we hear Reynolds solemnly reciting the oath and then a green flash, followed by the Lantern and "Coming Soon" written underneath it
