So Emerald Dawn had the car wreck (love that they gave him a 70s muscle car). And Secret Origins had the Bar fight. Not that it hasn't been established or stated already but this does just confirm how they are loosely combining elements form both.

Nice to see Campbell using some blood during action and fight scenes and not be afraid to push the PG-13 rating as far as he can.

It looks like Hal is really, really bruised in that pic with a fan. I guess anyone in NOLA can get a pic with RR if they happen to be in a bar late at night after filming.

Ah nice video. I'm not too sure what he drove in the comics, but here, it's an orange/red mustang, which was in the first draft of the script!

And if you look at the brick wall, there's an aged painted mural of...people surfing. I check on google map and the area didn't have the mural there before. It makes me think it was created there, since Coast City is famous for its...coasts.

I think they're sadly filming at the studio, Second Line Stages. So most likely you won't be able to see anything unless they are planning to do second unit stuff around the city. (Without Reynolds or Campbell)

Didn't Hal get gray sideburns in the original script? What, was it from burning out from using too many rings or some random crap?

^ Yes. It was due the effort of wielding the entire power of the Central Battery, with a small hint that it might be that Parallax just found a new host.

OK, after my wife's friend posted her pic to her blog, someone spotted it and now she's on the board here. Now that we're back and I know about this I thought I'd add a few more pics and comments. We watched the fight scene filming for nearly two hours (in the pouring rain for the middle part).
Everyone in the crew was friendly and polite to the crowd of about 20 out on the sidewalk. Mr Reynolds was very personable and nice to my wife n daughter and signed autographs too. I didn't know there were many nice stars left, but he is apparently one of them. I read somewhere that the car was a Mustang, but it really looked like an old Challenger to me. The scene we watched (I tried taking a vid, but only had my iphone and it just didn't cut it) was a fight scene where he took on three guys (their backs to us) and they all three had wires attached, and flew over a Honda & Ford Pickup. When they did, the flashers on the cars went off. I assume if he hit three that hard, the the FX will add a green fist from the ring or something like that. Here's a better pic of Ryan (he's not mad, but distracted by someone to the left) and pics of the chairs for the cast with the GL logo. Enjoy!
