That would make no sense, because he's the GREEN lantern. They aren't stupid enough to make the only green his costume.

Even if it's silver, it's bound to have green on it somewhere. Remember the first picture we had of Reynolds with the ring? It looked green then. It could be just the lighting.

Until we get an actual good shot of the ring, there's no need to worry.

You know what they could have done to save them some money for effects, was use the JLA Trophy room Green Lantern Power Battery and Ring set, its a metal ring and lantern, the ring lights up the lantern and at that point they could have added the effects in to make it better looking. This way we have the traditional lantern and ring.

I think the ring is a prop for the filming and will be CGI'ed in post. That's just my speculation.

well from the photos it does look to just be the trim around the ring as i said before and solid inner green and probably around the symbol.

Lastly, over sixteen New Orleans residents have gleefully revealed their castings as extras in a "rooftop party scene" for Green Lantern. The scene is set to be filmed within the next few weeks in downtown New Orleans. Both Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are reported to be involved in the scene; though in what capacity has yet to be revealed.

I dont think that just because some graphic has a silver logo that the ring will necessarily be silver. That's a jump. It's just as much a jump to say it will be all green.

yea from that one set photo we have seen it does seem to have a thick green band, with a silver trim on top/bottom to it, and then i am guessing probably silver ring going around the lantern logo part.
